Maybe this move means a trade is in the works. Maybe a big deal...like Ethier and Loney for a power 1B? Otherwise I'm not making sense of signing coco puffs

Okay..."Milton Bradley" was one thing...but "Coco Crisp"? That's too much to digest.

Good question...there's gotta be a powerbat 1B out there that a team would trade away. It's probably Ryan Howard. He's overpaid enough for Ned to want.

I know I sound like a broken record but it might be more related to a salary dump with prospects coming to us.

If we get Crisp, all that happens is that Sands goes to Triple A and our LF is a platoon of Rivera/Gwynn/Crisp

I wouldn't really understand platooning CoCo with anyone. He'd be a great fulltime player for us and has an almost perfect R/L split

Crisp is probably better than Sands and Gwynn, don't know why there's such anger towards this idea.

Young men are simply angry, most of the time. When one reaches antiquity, then you are merely numb.
And Ned at times, has sort of a ether effect on your brain...you sort of just drool and blankly stare ahead. Like Homer, daydreaming about a donut.

because I'm tired of going after the Coco Crisp's of the MLB. How about a nice Fielder or Pujols? Hell, even a cool Aramis Ramirez.

There is no fucking NEED for a Coco Crisp, that's why. We already have a fucking scrub, Rivera, blocking our best hitting prospect and now you want to get another guy to block him too?

Plus, I'm on board with Chris, I'm tired of stupid shit signings like this, I want a fucking beast, a top-notch player.

Finally, I don't want Ned to make ANY more moves, NONE. He needs to fucking stop with his shit and allow the new owner and his GM to make decisions.

i doubt anyone expected a beast signing w ownership in flux but fail to see the need for an average at best light hitting outfielder named after a breakfast cereal. that is unless he is considering a move to utility infiedler then it makes perfect sense.

Devil, can't Harang be considered sort of a "beast" signing?
