Something Crazy in 2009 Playoffs...

    I was watching these highlights just now and was like holy shit. WTF?!
    How are there so many empty seats in playoff games? I can't fathom how this happened. If they can sell out week day regulars season games, how did this happen on 2 occasions in the playoffs?

    Does anyone remember this? I vaguely remember but was shocked when I saw this on the highlights.

    I hope it doesn't happen again. Pretty embarrassing if you think about it.

    Just an assumption on my part,but first pic looks like day game and either weather looks shitty or possibly just a bad pic...

    that's a wall you're looking at. You can't see the sky in that pic, and I dont believe we had any playoff games during the day.

    Didn't McCourt jack up the prices for the playoffs? I wouldn't pay 100 bucks to sit in those seats either.

    The first pic was taken a the end of the game, and I think we were losing that game going into the 9th so people probably left early as dumb as that sounds. I do remember seeing the 2nd picture and thinking how the hell we didn't sell out an NLDS game

    Wasn't really judging it off seeing any sky,just that the pic looks much darker then the other and honestly just looks like a gloomy day...I honestly have no clue but just my 2cents
