    Fucking media whores, that's all.

I read that piece and Gurnick who made it seem like every day business. I'm willing to bet AGon is taking a father-son talk with him rather than starting some shit.

    Also this blurb is incorrect:

Puig chipped off another chunk of Mattingly's patience this spring when he showed up weighing 251 pounds, 26 more than he weighed at the end of last season and 15 more than he weighed when he showed up the previous spring.

Puig checked in last spring at 245, only a 6 pound difference.

I actually have noticed that sometimes when he strikes out, or runs in to an out on the base paths, it does seem like he will act like he hurt himself. He'll semi-limp off the field, or grab a body part or something. Maybe it's just me noticing, or maybe he just carries himself awkwardly, I don't know. I don't really feel like it's that big of a deal though.

Agon shouldn't be talking to anyone. He played no heart in Boston and no heart while the dodgers got off to a shitty start last year.

Puig is what is in the dictionary, next to the listing of the word "enigma"...a physically and potentially great and savage hitter, who strikes fear in pitcher's hearts (something like Gary Sheffield did) at one moment, and is aguably (or most definitely) the dopiest, no-clue-having BB player ever to put on a uniform.
He killed the ball in the 2nd game, and looked stupider on the bases than he ever did before. I guess that's what you get with him, and possibly never the twain shall meet....but he's going to have to flirt with offensive/defensive all time greatness to offset and balance his uber-cluelessness.
    I hope he can.
As time wears on though, there will be less and less patience with him, IMO.

I've seen it before in sports and it is usually the kids with a lack of discipline. They don't know how to say, "damn, that guy beat me with a good pitch" instead they whine and say "oh I hurt myself, he didn't beat me, I'm hurt!" Seems like a coping mechanism. Puig will learn to deal with this eventually or he can continue to look like a crybaby every time he gets out, which will eventually get on his teammates nerves.

This shit is just Saxon trying to retain his belt as worst Dodgers writer again here in 2014. This guy does not enjoy the team he is covering and that constantly comes out in his work.

    Thicken your blue skins boys.....

Get ready for a summer packed with this kind of BS and extensive Yankee/BoSox pop fly and hot dog vendor coverage taking precedence over our domination.

One full year in Boston, .338 BA 27 HR 117 RBI. What a heartless piece of shit.

The dodgers shitty start where everyone on the team except him is hurt. He's the only guy that consistently produced throughout the whole season and he tapered off at the end meaning he was better during the shitty streak. What fucking sport do you watch?

I guess it's just that a Yankee fan said it. Go back through last years threads, I remember numerous posts from dodgers fans saying he looked like he was just going through the motions and content with being on a losing team.

He captained two boston teams into the toilet with no leadership. The closest thing he showed to it was texting the owners about bobby v.

    Dude has talent, no heart.

He showed a ton of heart last year when he was the only one doing something in the NLCS.

You're the one claiming it happened. You go through the posts and show me where it was said. The 2011 Red Sox came in second to the #1 AL team. The 2012 Sox were overall underachievers but AGon still hit .300 and had 100 RBI for the season. You're right about one thing. Your opinion is biased by being a Yankees fan.

I for one, want to see more about the 40 dollar Australian hot dog.
You wouldn't think that is possible to get down, but the Jabba the Hut in the stands was steadily going at it. Slow and steady wins the race....
The guy looked like he took up two seats , too.
Krikey...I had obviously wrong impression the all Aussies were like Paul Hogan or Wolverine.

Either way it was a meeting that never should have been made public, or maybe should never have been held at all. No matter what good it accomplishes for the team it's still the nail in the coffin of public opinion on Puig the man. Right now the only thing that can help his public image is if he runs into a burning inferno and carries out 4 babies and 2 grandmas...simultaneously.
