If you get stuck in traffic, at least Beckett is starting and his half innings will last an hour each

Urias strikes out the side in the 9th. His final line: 4 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 4 BB, 5 K's. Touched 97 according to SJ Giants radio guy.

@chrisrod13: Can we just keep Urias out there some more? Strikes out the side in the 9th. 91-94; plus CH at 81; plus CB at 80. Holy shit. #Dodgers

Everything I have read is he is a #2 or solid mid rotation starter. Though I think many of them say that since he is so young and they are trying to temper expectations. I know that from some scouts, watching him pitch has been the equivalent to looking at your sig night in and night out.

Urias is projected to be a #2 starter mainly because of his body type. He's 6'1 200 pounds- at 17 years old. There's not much projection left. He's athletic and his arm is super quick but he won't be 6'5 anytime soon. Also, aces are made in the major leagues. It's hard to say "yup that guys an ace" when he's so young. He could probably pitch in the bigs now and have some success which is insane.

    This is very interesting, Chris...
Has the size of a pitcher these days at (6'1" 200 lbs) seen as a detriment or at least "a smaller guy?" That's unbelievable. Considering guys like Kufu, Ford, Hershiser, Guidry, Maddux, etc...and what they were able to do.
Shows how the game and physical ideal has changed I guess. Guys who hold some of the greatest BB pitching records Like Seaver and Nolan Ryan were somewhat small by today's standards, I guess.
No wonder these guys take drugs.

I agree but I also remember a guy named Pedro Martinez who was considered too small.
