Huge game for Joc tonight. 4-4, 2 HRs, dbl, a walk, and 5 RBIs.

I haven't seen numbers like that since beer league softball.

God I wish we could just trade Ethier or Crawford and bring up Joc(I know it is not that easy). CC is OPS'ing at .668 to start the year while Andre, a notorious hot starter, is at .560 and his bat speed has looked terribly slow. Can't keep running out crap like that then having the worst defensive CF'er in the game to boot. Wonder how long the team will be ok with that sort of production before finally bringing up the teams CF'er of the future.

Problem is no one is going to take Ethier now unless we get completely fucked in the deal.

Oh I know it is not happening. Just frustrating that both those bums are signed through 2017... unbelievable

We'd have to get fucked regardless. Moving Ethier or Crawford means giving whomever we trade them too extremely them-friendly/us-fucked deals.

If you wanna talk sleeper prospects, I would like to nominate Jacob Scavuzzo.

Yes, yes, but an improvement over the last outing and overall pretty good.

Joc is doing better than I thought he would but of course it's the PCL. Looking at the El Paso line-up I couldn't help but notice some of the names, Francouer, Blanks, Castellanos and Maybin trying to get back to the bigs. Red Patterson sporting a 2.86 in the PCL, 4 K's and NO WALKS, wonders ever cease.

Urias, who was originally scheduled to start tonight, was removed due to workload concerns I guess.
