Joc stays hot with 2 of the 4 hits (both doubles) the Topes were able to muster tonight in a 12 -2 loss.

Dude is hitting .441 (26/59), with 12 XBHs.

That said, he is only hitting .235 vs LHP.

Life in the PCL for pitchers must be hell! Topes score 11 in the 1st and barely hold on 13 - 12. Joc only went 1 for 5!!!! Olivo hitting .417, somebody needs a call up! Of course he'd have to get his contract bought out and that would mean a roster move will have to be made. Guerrero hitting .440 but Dee has been a huge surprise. A pitcher for San Jose has an ERA of 189.00 right now, ouch!!

Get Olivo up. He would be a much needed offensive upgrade at catcher.

I wouldn't even mind Guerrero off the bench. I know they wouldn't do that because of his development (and I definitely get it), but he'd be way better than Turner and Figgins.

Butera has some kind of guardian angel in the FO so optioning Fed would be more than likely. Both of them are on thin ice for sure however.

FedEx just might be worse than Butera, but Butera is easier to cut ties with it, he's not gonna last long.

It's obvious the FO wants a catcher who 1st and foremost can handle a pitching staff and Fed has been here longer and knows a majority of them better. No real bad answer here.

Magill is looking horrible this year, even for the PCL. And Fife is at least 2x worse. With Maholm essentially the sixth starter when Kershaw returns, and CBills supposedly coming back at some point, and Lee and Patterson pitching like they're not in the PCL, I can't see Magill or Fife getting another chance in L.A. I doubt either has trade value on their own, but they should be throw-ins on any potential deal made to sweeten the pot a bit.

Magill has? I don't usually judge bases off of stats, but 3.86 ERA in the PCL isn't that bad.

I still like Magill, he's not done yet, however Fife has always been utter garbage, no surprise here

I think they'll give Guerrero 60 games to build up a sample size and if he's still raking then call him up for Turner's roll and Turner will take Figgins' and barely play. That or if someone gets hurt.
