2 no hitters? That's something you can brag about for the rest of your life. At any level, that's impressive as hell.

Hopefully they draft someone cool with the first pitch instead of some lame college arm like they always do.

They've been scouting the heck out of college shortstops as well. Kind of surprised tbh.

In the case of Gavin Lux and Delvin Perez, those are guys who could stay at SS long-term and allow Seager to eventually make that transition to 3B.

EDIT: Just realized you said college SS.

Last years draft was shit cause of how it ended up with the injury and non-signing so I hope this year goes great with those 4 picks

I wouldn't really label last year as shit necessarily. Thus far it actually seems to be a pretty good draft overall in hindsight if you ask me. Yes the first and third picks are somewhat questionable thus far, but both still have good upside. They lost on Funkhouser who has been rewarded by faceplanting, but they got the pick back for a significantly better draft where they may get him in the later rounds now. Not to mention that Sborz has been better than predicted as a starter, Pfeifer is showing signs of being a solid reliever, both Davis and Abdullah has solid upside and recent struggles aside Garlick has been a nice 28th round find. They have had solid returns thus far and that doesn't even mention the big catch which appears to be 4th round pick Willie Calhoun. If he turns out to be the teams long term 2B of the future, I would label this a great draft. I do agree though, finding guys late is nice, this year they really need to hit with those first 4!

I want somebody on the left side of infield and/or at catcher, easily the biggest needs IMO

Funny watching these analysts on MLB Network pretending to know anything about these high school players they've never even seen before.

There's a lot "experts" like that around.

The internets has given birth to an army of them.

Mayo, Manuel and Callis know their shit. Reynolds doesn't know dick about any of them and just flies by the seat of his pants.

The signability is the risk but he is supposed to have the best curveball and he's left handed, remind you of someone, lol.
