His career is over. Not even 500 gallons of Lactaid could bring him back from this pathetic, scrawny, lactose intolerant, Juan Pierre-lite display. I say the fans start throwing his bobblehead on the field until he walks off in disgrace. Racist
This ump sucks el I realize you don't like the guy, and that's fine, indeed. But why so hard on Juan Pierre?
I thought this team was supposed to suck?.The individual numbers they have look pretty damn good to me.
And invented " it is what it is", part of American jargon now. Like Davey has now engineered " runway" as an annoying baseball usage instead of high fashion/ aviation terminology, where it belongs. Davey is an innovator.
Don't care how hot you are right now, Max That AB was pure shit. Unacceptable with 2 on 0 outs. Swung at 3 consecutive balls nowhere near the plate. Had to know with Dairy Free boy on deck you wouldn't get anything to hit
J.T.'s defense has been surprisingly bad since the middle of last year. He's usually automatic. I don't think it's a MAJOR problem, but worth noting. Gotta clean that up.
Freese should've picked that throw, it wasn't that hard. Also Muncy's D is pretty shit too. Motherfucker had the easiest double play hit to him by the opposing catcher then didn't charge the ball, then didn't take it to the bag himself, then made the shittiest flip to Seager and all of that led to an extra run that didn't need to score.
I did not see the play. Only read the box score, which showed 2 unearned runs assigned to J.T. Stopped watching after Seager was up with 2 men on.
Corey is fine, relax. A slow start was expected considering he missed the vast majority of last season (and this offseason) with an injury. Also, it’s still early in the season and the sample size is relatively small.
We don't seem to handle the better teams that well...thinking of the Cards, Cubs, and now looking douchey with the Nats ( who are a very good team, in spite of their record), but not that impressive at all. And could have easily lost all three with the Pads. AL top teams, if we play them, will beat us and win the series. Especially with Robots not going with the most productive players at any given time, just to prove his interchangability and runway methodology. Hope our record isn't just a scheduling quirk. Maeda tonight leaves me naked and afraid.
I'm as negative as they come. BUT, we could have easily swept the Pads, too...depending on how you look at it. The resiliency in that series from the offense was encouraging. The Cardinals series was pathetic, no doubt. The offense was flat but POS Joe Kelly was at the center of most of the losses, if I remember. I was out of town and didn't watch much of it. Our most recent relevant encounter with the Cubs was beating their asses in the NLCS. The Nats series remains to be seen, but they are about the only team in MLB more pathetic than us when it comes to October.
seager 6-for-37 (.162) in his last 10 games 3xbh, 10k lack of production while recuperating is one thing, but dude looks seriously emaciated
He's done. Dont need him. Never did. Scrub Culberson and crap Manny did most of the work for us in our 2 WS trips. Trade him to Japan
