Freese has been dealing w tendinitis
CT and barnes really don't deserve to be w the major league club
Garlick, Beatty and Smith are all better choices
ah but they are flexible like a gay hooker in a pride parade

    "Grade 2-PLUS" according to Dave.

Corey Seager is of no use for this organization anymore. He simply cannot stay on the field. This will be a tragic 'what could have been' career.

Hip, elbow, and hamstring all may require surgery by age 25-26?

Charlie Culberson and Manny Machado were playing SS the two times we won the pennant. If we are fortunate to make it there again, it will be another scrub. Corey will be in North Carolina rotting away.

His days of being a 6-8 win potential SS are over. He is going to be a 1Bman who plays 90 games a year.

Players, fans and media all openly started talking about how, "this feels like the 2017 team."
The only similarity between these two teams is that neither of them will have won the WS and Corey will be MIA most of the time.
    I'm at a loss.
Was thankful that I could not watch tonight and fully expected a loss, but of course it gets worse.

Shit. Looks like Seager may be the Dodgers' Andrew Bynum. Except of course, Bynum won 2 championships..and obviously, it's hard to fathom the Dodgers ever winning it all 30 years into this drought.

Never expect a guy that's so young to be so brittle. A whole lot of Ripken comparisons when Seager 1st came up..we wish. Guess that's why the baseball gods are sending us Gavin Lux.

CT in high leverage situations has a .321 avg, .355 OBP, .500 slugging. In all other situations he's been garbage, Barnes has been bad Smith was pretty good when he came up so it's tough not to argue with you on him.

With Corey out I say have Barnes play 2nd and bring Will Smith back up. So what is it 4 - 6 or 6 - 8 weeks??? 96 games to go which will be plenty of time for Corey to come back wither way. As for his injury history as of late I'm not ready at all to say he'll be like this the rest of his career because he has so much of his career ahead. Plus this is a strain muscle nothing overly serious. So what's with all the gloom and doom over a series against a team who plays very well against us???? We won't face them in the foreseeable future when it really really counts and we are a .500 road team so to me not unexpected. Lets get those fucking Cubs!!!!

Tbh idk why you’re shitting on Seager anymore. He’s on pace for like a 5+ WAR season.

I didnt shit on his talent in that post.
He can be on pace for 5 WAR all he wants. In order to reach it (or exceed it as he did his first two seasons), he actually has to PLAY. Stay ON THE FIELD.
Grade 3 strains, if it is that severe, require surgery.
That would be a hip, elbow, and hamstring surgery before age 26 with back issues to go along with it.
If that is the health we are dealing with, yes, his 6-8 WAR days are over (which is what I said). He will be lucky to play 100 games each year.
    My post is about health.

Whatever people feel about him, it is an extremely bad break for the guy who was obviously coming completely around, back to one of the purest hitters in baseball. Just sucks big time for him and fans alike.
Guys like Joc, Bellinger and Verdugo and the Kike/Taylor duo had best start hitting with some kind of consistency, or we could have some serious problems right round the bend.
Defensively we will replace him, imo...but with our O lately, which was Seagar, Turner's base hits and no legs, and Muncy, it definitely won't be enough.
Any stumbling by the SPs, with this truly inept BP we have, well...
