    Livian Hernandez?

Not worried unless Eric Gregg is behind the plate.

This series needs to be a sweep. Our pitching have been on a roll and it is time for the offense to really get going again. These east coast swings always kind of fuck us up, but big series with the Braves after this. Also want to see this club lock things up ASAP so that MAYBE we have a better chance of seeing Lux. I am really getting a bit worried that they are gonna do that thing where they call him up like Sept 7th and if he doesn't go 3-4 in each of their first couple of games, they go "see, not ready" then bench him. So we get stuck with something like Hernandez or Taylor starting a crucial WS game, when they are just oh so much more valuable as pinch hitters. Give me a lineup of

    2B Lux
    SS Seager
    3B Turner
    RF Bellinger
    1B Muncy
    CF Pollock/ LF Pederson
    C Smith
    LF/CF Verdugo

Dodgers away games against .500 or better opponents the rest of the way
    3 @ Braves (.583)
    4 @ Diamondbacks (.504)
    3 @ Mets (.517)

Home games left against .500 or better teams
    3 v NYY (.658)
    2 v TB (.583)

Roughly 64% of the schedule down the stretch is against sub .500 teams. Great opportunity to gain some ground in the race for HFA, especially so down the stretch when only the Mets and Rays series being whats left in September where I would not be shocked to see the Mets back out of contention.

Tyler White to the IL, Kyle Garlick recalled. Right Trap Sprain for White, whom has been fully fucking awful since the team acquired him. I would not be shocked if the team would like to avoid losing him as there are some recent pieces about him that show that his swing mechanics are all out of whack. If the club could fix him, that is a dangerous bench bat ala David Freese for the years ahead.

Yeah it really looks like a phantom DL, don’t blame them. Put him on the 60 day DL to open up a spot but keep him

The only things he strained are the buttons on his jersey and his belt.

Talent aside, I have a hard time seeing Series success with three rooks in the starting lineup.

I was incredibly skeptical when we began the season that Max could play 2B, let alone be good there, but man has that changed the entire season for the better. Once he became essentially our everyday 2B, it made the lineup lethal. Just think about it, if Muncy doesn’t learn to play 2B then he has to play 1B every day. Sure, they probably get a bit more aggressive with Lux but you’re essentially praying Lux is ready cause if not then Negron is an everyday starter and you’re hoping Enrique/Taylor can play everyday. Now, we’re able to cycle through outfielders.

Can’t believe we picked up Muncy from the A’s scrap heap.

And Turner from the Mets steaming pile.

Max being able to play 2B is a wonderful thing.
But I'm not seeing how it makes our lineup lethal...
...all it does is open up more ABs for Pollock types and keeps Lux in AAA.

Our best defense, provided Lux is ready, is

    Cody CF
    Verdugo RF
    Joc/Pollock LF
    Lux 2B
    Corey SS
    Turner 3B
    Muncy 1B
    Smith C
