    He's hitting .256/ .310/ .459

Hitting way worse than Pollock and like just a little better, maybe, than Enrique

Red Sox fans reveling in the fact that they fired Dave Dombrowski, just over 10 months after they literally won the World Series. Fuck Boston fans.

Same old song. Hope Puig enjoyed his time in Cincinnati, the Cleveland stay will be even shorter. IMO the Indians should suspend him. What a complete disgrace to the game.

It's finally apparent, finally something that shouldn't be unspoken...
    Puig needs to be executed.

The message is about to come across in the strongest way this winter when his free agent market is shitty.
Dude is a bum. Knew he was a bum years ago. Makes Mondesi look like Clemente

Legit question. The Dodgers may clinch the division very soon. So do you lift off the gas and experiment with different lineups, especially the SP and BP rotation? Or do you go all out for HFA throughout the playoffs and possibly the WS.

I think HFA for NL is a must but not throughout playoffs. Get guys healthy and experiment a bit for playoffs, especially the relievers

Still rather have him the batters box than Cody.
    In the outfield...not so much.

Wow, tough break about Yelich. They have climbed their way back into Wild Card picture too. Wouldn't mind seeing these guys fall ass backwards into the WC game and pull it out against the Nats only to have us waiting for them. Yelich has been pretty much that entire team this year and they would be in rough shape for a series since their pitching isn't close to what it was last year. I think this is it for them, but stranger things have happened.

Grandal is gonna choose THIS year to go on a hot streak in the playoffs lol

I think my order of preference from the wild card contenders is:
    1) Philly
    2) Arizona
    3) Mets
    4) Brewers
    5) Nats
    6) Cubs

    Injury Updates:

Muncy - Sounds like he progressing to a point that we should see him again very soon.

Turner- Is getting an MRI today, there is some worry that he could have some underlying structural issues in his ankle after a dive the other day. Rios could see extended time at the 3B position down the stretch. He had a hot close to the year and his prodigious power stroke has returned.

Verdugo- Very likely that his season is over as his rehab stint has stalled after a season long back issue never got better. This has been catastrophic end to a year that had him as easily one of our most valuable pieces and his play in CF was a reason the team moved Pollock to LF as they felt Alex was a week away from returning last month. His contact rate will be missed in the playoffs and a PO roster with deadly depth throughout has taken a major hit.

Hill- We will see him start tomorrow. It looks like the goal of a postseason rotation will be in some order, Buehler, Kershaw, Ryu and Hill. Hopefully those guys will be right once October comes around as a pen with arms like Maeda, Urias, Gonsolin and or May could be very interesting to watch unfold as the teams that have found WS success the past few years have been helped greatly by the emergence of a starter who came in and saved their bacon.

Kelly- He has a minor knee thing going on which is why he has not pitched much at all lately. They hope he will be ready to go again soon, but the worry with Kelly is his mechanics come and go which is where his extended streaks of dominance and futility come from. They said already that the knee thing had been causing issues for the past couple of outings and that his mechanics did go out of whack from it.

Verdugo is the only one that has a major thing going on, but if a couple other pieces start to fall, the depth gets iffy. I was worried that the club was going to do to Lux, what they did to Verdugo and it almost happened. They gave him 6 games and he never looked comfortable(AV had the exact same scenario happen), so they tried to bench him. The injury to Turner got him in the lineup and Lux answered by having a big night. Hopefully this gets the kid going as that would make the catching position the only spot in the lineup where not a whole lot of offense is coming from at the moment.

    My worry level:
Verdugo - high. Skeptical he plays at all
Turner - cautiously low. He seems to be fine even after extended absences so even if he needs a week off I think he can turn it around. Just worried they don’t have a reason why he’s hurt
Muncy - cautiously optimistic. My worry is that the injury saps his power. Luckily he’ll be back soon and wel know. Also, thankfully he has a good eye so his OBP skills shouldn’t leave but a power sap makes the lineup so much weaker
Kelly- medium high. they don’t seem too worried but he’s our best reliever atm so any injury is catastrophic

Considering the CKWG report, and the harbingers of uncertainty from key players, the starters really sucking mightily, a bad closer, I don't think we get out of the NL as champs.
If that is wrong, and we do, I don't feel we have nearly enough to handle the Astros or Yanks.
And missing, is any reference to the superior management abilities of all teams compared to Roberts.
Idk about Kapler, and to some degree, the Brewers, but anyone else we definitely come up short.
