Add free throws and a KCP missed dunk. Last long streak we lost to an inferior opponent as well. Saturday should be fun.
The comeback in the 3rd was sweet though. Quinn and Troy looked like the players they supposed to be.
And Celtics on Monday Looking forward to possibly locking into a playoff spot by the end of February - potentially 50 wins by then.
What is the word on the trade market? Doesn't seem all that exciting for being about 2 weeks away. I know that there was some preseason speculation that the Lakers would need to fill a couple of holes, but haven't really heard much in that regard since with the club clicking and all. Seems like if anything, it is the buy-out market and/or whether Collison decides if he wants to return.
Latest word - Bleacher Report@BleacherReport 30m Lakers and Sixers are among teams interested in trading for D-Rose, per@ChrisBHaynes Normally, I'd be against this, but a couple things - 1) Rose is every bit the athletic freak that Dwight is, pound for pound. And like Dwight, Rose is still very athletic after all the injuries and he's shaken the injury bug for the most part. I was against signing Dwight before the season..won't make that mistake again this season. 2) And this will be sort of a below the radar nugget - the Derrick Rose/Patrick Beverley matchup. Rose is a Chicago guy that's not scared of Chicago guy Pat Beverley at all and that could prove extremely valuable. He also still slashes and scores pretty well off the dribble and makes plays for others - a weakness for LAL outside of what LeBron does. Actually, I wouldn't hate sending Kuz to Detroit for Rose....but only if we get Svi back, as well. I'm OK with this - http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=yg9tgy7v or maybe even this http://www.espn.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=rvxc94r Lakers do need a guard that can go get his own offense.
This calls for a trade. Tonight. If I'm running this team, somebody's not making the next flight. Fuck that. Not against the Celtics.
Harden, 1-17 from behind the 3pt line last night - Rockets blow a 16pt lead in the 4th and lose to OKC Lol
