There are now 7 lawsuits that have been filed against the Houston Astros from a mix of fans and former players. According to a piece out of Texas Sportsnation, this could make things much much worse for the Asterisks. One reason being that if these are not thrown out and go into Discovery, then we are likely to learn more about what happened in the events over the last couple of years that MLB has likely tried to cover up. The Astros will try to get these all thrown out and ESPECIALLY will do their damndest to make sure these don't go beyond the state supreme court as that would be the worst case scenario for them(I wOnDeR wHy!?). To make matters more dangerous for the club, if they were to lose any of these suits, it could set a dangerous precedent for not only season ticket holders looking for money back plus interest and damages, but there is also a chance for this to open the door for gamblers AND casinos that lost money due to the cheating altering the outcome of games. There is a decent chance that all of these get thrown out immediately, especially the ones in the state of Texas, but it will be interesting to watch none the less.

Wow...how eloquent. A true orator in Dodger Blue.
Talk about being tired of things...anybody else gagging on the "moving forward"fucking never ending narrative mantra ?
That's exactly what those Assterisk slime balls want...sure...forget about what we did, even though we were pieces of shit cheats. Move on.
That's what every villain wants, genius...
We'll take the OJ sentence, say the Houston piglets.
Guilty as sin itself, but on the golf courses every day.

He's really not a sharp dude.
Fans criticize him for being a "puppet of the F.O." but I think that's a good thing.
Could you imagine this guy making decisions on his own? Like, you know, Game 5?
Not saying the F.O. calls into the dugout and makes decisions. Of course not. But I think they really lay out the big picture strategy and Dave would be completely lost without them.

Yup. Team decision. They’re not saying “Stop Posting.” Just saying don’t like what you post. Sorry.

Didn't have jack to do with posting, but didn't the Dodgers diss Kufu for a few years over something ? and didn't the Yanks do the same to Yogi back in the day ?
The freedom to say what you want is fine, and to feel any way you do surely is great, but then, how the Astros feel and what Reddick says is kosher ?
Maybe this is codger shit, sprinkled with get off my lawn seed, but you've gotta draw the line somewhere.

There wouldn't be such blowback (no homo) if he was bashing the current commander in chief.

    That said, he's an idiot.

    Forgot to add.........fuck the Giants.

If I lost money gambling legally, I'd be suing too. If not the Asterisks, then MLB.

David Ortiz - " I'm mad at this guy, the pitcher who came out talking about it, " Ortiz said at JetBlue Park on Thursday. " And let me tell you why. Oh, after you make your money, after you get your ring, you decide to talk about it. Why don't you talk about it during the season when it was going on? Why didn't you say, 'I don't want to be no part of it? So you look like you're a snitch. Why you gotta talk about it after? That's my problem. Why nobody said anything while it was going on? "

    Jefe big mad.

Why is David Ortiz now opening his trap?

Trying to calm the blow against the Red Sox coming

I don't know why I never noticed this before, but I saw this in an article and then confirmed it by looking it up - in Game 5 of the 2017 WS, McCann drops multiple signs before each pitch even with no one on base. It suggests that the Astros were worried about having signs stolen, even in their home park. The Astros have been steadfast with the story that they did not cheat on the road, yet they were worried about another team stealing signs on the road... it just seems odd.

    @ChrisCotillo
Lucroy says Fiers told him of Astros scheme two years ago. Said A’s called MLB and league did nothing. When he saw Athletic report in November, thought “Oh boy.”

Ortiz, being a cheater himself, of course doesn’t like the cheating exposed. At least he’s consistent.

At this point, I would just love for the Astros to suffer and suck. I want all these things to float in their heads until they can’t hit their mom let alone a fastball.
