Just heard this song the first time about 2 months ago and have been listening to it a ton. Feel like taking an edible and watching this blizzard blow through while listening to some tunes.

When I think of Count Basie, I think one of my favorite comedy ever, Blazing Saddles.

Not sure how many of you get down with the Grateful Dead, but I’ll share anyway.

these times are trying... and while this is a quote from one of my least favorite GD songs, this quote rings so very true right now.

“ I will get by, I will survive “... Grateful Dead, Touch Of Grey

Morning Dew, is a fantastic listen .” it’s about a post apocalyptic time about a man and a women originally written by Bonnie Dobson.-Cryptic as fuck but so damn beautiful...one of my all time favorites... enjoy

    stay safe bkitches...

I turned 16 years old on this day, went to the Glendale DMV passed my driver’s license test, and drove my 73 V-dub out to Indio Ca to party at the polo fields with PJ.

    Here’s the full show...amazing

    Ha!
Around the same time at around the same age I went to my first concert and it was PJ at the old forum.
I took my 79 CVCC but my cousin drove it because I already had the law on my ass for driving without a license.
We were drinking the whole way there.
He ended up borrowing the car and a few days later wrapped it around a tree.
Drunk off his ass or probably coked out.

Shit are we the same age?

i was standing in a line in Lowe's canoga park around 09 when i was converting my warehouse into the Lair
i had a huge gold dimensional star i was buying w a can of blue paint (totally lost but still trying)
couple had a little kid maybe 3 and he started talking to me about the star and i said i was going to paint it blue
dad interjects "that's Dodger blue" and i'm like yeah and at that moment i realize its Chris Robinson

Not sure if this counts but I was in my mommas belly in 1977 at the Forum for a Led Zeppelin show.

Alice In Chains were a staple for me during the early 90s. All those 90s grunge bands actually. PJ was my fave though.

but GD have been my band forever. Gratefully Deadicated por vida.

have had a lot of dead head friends over the years and i definitely never turn them off
i mean who can hear uncle john's band and not be a fan?
my attorney took me to see Weir and Lesh in some sort of dead form i forget the name
was totally impressed w Lesh and his ability as well as so many people being out of their mind high navigating the greek theatre w ease lol
at intermission i was standing w 4 lawyers and explaining how fluid these beasts were when i spotted a guy circling 50 ft from us
he was weaving out of control and it took him a minute but he zig zagged his way right over to us and face planted on the ground
it happened so fast all i could say was "look out!" and he was on the ground lol
we walked away and that's my dead head experience
but it truly was impressive to see people THAT high managing their way in an out of the restrooms
its like they were in the flow w a big smile on their face
