Just saw Michele Phillips on this Folk Music retro thing on PBS here...she is sought of a guest host. She will be 75 in June, and I would make soup from her panties. In a NY minute.
Older the Mirren by a month, I think, and just as fine, indeed.
Amazing, she is still as cute as hell.

    Sort, not sought.
Have no idea why I typed that, except that I would seek her.

Well, if you like that, that's uh...cool. So to speak.
But for me, extended peiods of 100° are right up there with snow in May.

Yeah...and it gets worse as the years go by.
"Time and tide waits for no man" my mom would always say.
The trick then, I would think, is to not be so cocksure confident about everything, as youth cultivates, and spend a little time proofreading.
Makes a huge difference I've found, and almost always get bit in the ass when I don't.

It's 42° right now, and the heavy rain feels like ice bullets. So nasty. Couldn't even walk the dogs again.
No shit, you wouldn't believe this.

You are a special type of pussy ass bitch if Jeff Bezos being projected to become the worlds first trillionaire pisses you off or you think he should be taxed extra.

Is anyone really adept at buying American? I want to commit to this philosophy, but it's proving to be more challenging than one would think. I wish there was a website that listed options for all different types of products.

    Same here.
I realize most things would be significantly more expensive because of the more favorable labor and tax/regulatory climate overseas, but I'd be willing to pay more for many things, knowing they came from America.

Mostly I just don't want things from China...at least as long as the CCP is in charge.

    CCP is the main deal.
There used to be a big made in the USA push in clothing when we were growing up. It didn't take hold. It might have been ahead of it's time.
We have a new deal with Mexico and Canada. Both are socially liberal governments and both are being courted hard by the CCP.
These are are core allies and ARE technically America... As in the continent.

This can be sold to the public as not exactly made in the USA but still made in America
You get a wider range of products to sell and while keep costs low by using the allied labor of our neighbors.
Many choice Central and South American nations would have incentive to join the treaty so they can enter the lucrative market.
It's like when you pay more for your bananas because they have a sticker that says organic.

Ford and other big companies have been building cheaper in Canada and Mexico for years.
And the greater american maritime empire extends it's golden fringe across the Pacific and up and down the Atlantic.
Japan, Australia/NZ, Britain, the anti CCP islands like HK/Taiwan, South Korea, Israel can form the strong backbone of the greater empire.
If the Indian subcontinent joins it would give the empire the key foothold against the looming CCP trade federation fleet incoming. India is primed to boom economically.

Made in the USA getting the most tax breaks of course.
Followed by Made in the Trans-American Union and the Empire of Great America.
I didn't mention the Arabs or Emirates or any of our near east holdings since all of those countries essentially lie on shifting sands.
Like any new hope it can only begin at the grassroots level.
That's how to make it in America.
    And the American dream.

Who owns the Made in USA trademark?
What about Made in America/ the Americas?
We can appeal for legislation designed to help made in america companies or those made by the special partners in the greater american trade network.
    Made in the Great America!
    We can have pretty hats.
