The email I got today is addressed to the prosecutor of a Rhode Island area to bring to justice someone who beat a chihuahua puppy and left her on the side of the road to die...someone found her, brought her to a veterinary hospital. Her head trauma was so severe, both eyes had to be removed. She was adopted, however, by one of tbe surgical team. And gets to live her life as a blind dog now. The smallest breed there is, in it's smallest form, beaten to blindness. I get notifications like this at least weekly, without fail. So, believing one more soulless scumbag doing something like this is not hard for me to accept at all.
