That's the thing....the Braves pitcher made a good pitch. Cody has struggled big time with the high heat all year. That was just an unreal swing

When he swung through a slightly lower pitch in the zone earlier in the AB I thought he was toast. That he hit one that he out for a bomb was nothing short of a miracle.

Pen gave them 6.1 innings and gave up just one run. Getting five outs from Phillips was huge.

Now we have to face the consequences of Roberts’ moronic move to pitch Urias in game 2. I assume he’s still slated for his start tomorrow. I hope he still has something in the tank

I have mortal fears that Roberts will pitch Scherzer in relief.

Good news is Bruihl and Phillips got a bunch of important outs. We didn’t use Treinen, and Kelly only threw six pitches.

For me, the game unfolded wihout Robert's micro meddling and inane moves at the end.
Looking back, that was huge, huge...wonder what it says when we have to be thankful the manager isn't that involved.
Pollock.got a hit, which was as improbable as the rest of it all.
Finally some things went our way.
Glad for the kid Lux. I hope this doesn't weigh too damn heavily on him, as it looked like he was flat out crushed in the dugout. They'll show that drop over and over, but as ultimately part of a gritty win, not a debilitating loss.
Baseball can be coldly cruel one minute, and incandescently joyous the next.
    Just like life...

    Yeah, good pick up.
Maybe you should let that guy Doc know, that this is what RPs do, and what they are built for...
    Not starters.
    Game 7, OK.

Nice to see the Dodgers taking advantage of the Braves pitchers and catchers with the running game. With their offensive struggles they've got to create opportunities any way they can.

Taylor's steal might have avoided a DP ground ball by Beatty. Instead he scores easily on Mookie's gapper.

Sadly in Trea's case you can't steal first base. From batting champ to postseason chump. He's lost all concept of the strike zone and has just one extra base hit in the postseason.

Max said, that in the fourth inning Sunday night, he couldn't feel his arm. Dead.
That's why Max, in the 4 th inning just left after shaking his head, from the mound. Overused, DANGEROUSLY, by Roberts, let's all hope it isn't recurring, damage minimal.
But.4.1 innimgs from Max, with a 452 ft. tying HR given up, is not what we're looking for from Max.
I guess his manager thinks he's some kind of Frankenstein Monster.
    Proper rest good...always pitch...bad.
    He hate me...

    easy solution
sit him and put lux in a more familiar position
    don’t care if it hurts trea’s feelings — team > trea’s pride/ego
shame on roberts for putting lux out there in such an important game with the sun in play
taylor or cody in cf the rest of the way

Can he.play third ? I hate to say it, but JT is a zero out there this post. I guess it's not the best time to find out, but really two auto outs in tne lineup is two too many. He looks beyond awful up there.
Of course, a newbie CF is not Hawking type stuff either...
Oh, and in addition,if Seager had any kind of leather to show, it might be a whole different series.
Let's face it, he leaves a lot to be desired out there.

i know both Bahstan and assholes teams and fans would love to have ATL over us and were bummed about last night
as far as Lux goes, that would have been a tough play for anyone yesterday let alone a guy w minimal time out there and yet he almost made it
just another year of surviving davey's decisions and overcoming his ineptitude
my prediction for tonight is 3/4 for TT after the infield hit

the only thing that would make it worse is if Joc and Kike were 2 and 3 on that list
