I've mentioned the waiver deadline a million times. I'm aware. Still just very annoying. Being anointed the busiest team trying to make a huge deal GOING INTO TODAY. Didn't even get the minimum of what we thought. No SP=fail today.

The NL is wide open and those names are just names and if you trust Logan then you have to believe those guys are for real. The signature of this organization is in deveolpment and that is what the Dodgers should be relying on to replenish. IMHO.

I'm serious about the SP. I'm happy with the 2 RP, 2 position players.

Wasn't plausible to fill all the gaping holes we have. Filling 2 is amazing. But not getting the SP! Ned! You had a boner for 3 months for getting a SP!

With this all said, I think Ned will pull something decent off later b4 August 31st.

Going into today. Just anti climatic, and I'm not concerned with Hart and guys like that. It was impossible to get 3 impact bats. haha It sucks, but is true.

While I do think this team is capable of winning the division (not saying much), i'll be shocked if it wins a playoff series.

Nobody wanted Dotel. He sucks. And Mac was our 2 time ML Player of the Year, and close to Major League ready. We also sucked ass in 2010. Horrible trade. Not really a comparison.

 

Did we approach the Cubs first about Dempster or did the Cubs or Dempsters agent approach us first?

 

Why did Ned, and Stan, and Don, etc. etc. all want a SP for so bad then?

Now Bills becomes the biggest X factor he's ever been in his career.

 

A rotation with a #1, 3/4(Bills, too inconsistent) and a bunch of #4/5's isn't gonna get it done.
