Rams were their own worst enemy when they signed Goff to that hideous contract. I was shocked when they offered him that and this was after a Superbowl. He just wasn't that kind of QB.

Rumor is the Rams' first target was Aaron Rodgers, but GB didn't want to play. Not sure if that situation will last either. Rams would have been in better position had Goff not had that albatross contract if ARod became available.

Watson would have been perfect in LA, but no draft picks that were interesting and again, that indecent contract to a mediocre QB.

David Carr was destroyed by one of the worst O lines in the history of the game. He never had a chance and if Houston passed on Derek because of David it shows how truly fucked up their organization is.

Yes, we all know the story of David Carr and what happened there. Texans fans don't give a damn about any of that though and ownership didn't wanna have to deal with the stigma. They've done OK without Derek, so I don't believe there's any regret and probably from either side given how far the Texans have fallen since Bob McNair's last year in control

You have to believe that the Rams had a good read on Goff by then. They were probably scared of the media backlash that would come with moving on from a QB that just played in the Super Bowl. They aren't alone in this though..Ravens surely regret handing Flacco all that money after he won a Super Bowl. Was a terrible deal the day he signed it. Shit happens

Yeah, Packers are like $30M+ over the cap. No way they would've been willing to take on that much money. And they have to pay Devante Adams soon

I think Watson would find it a little more fitting on the Vegas strip. https://www.foxbusiness.com/sports/raiders-las-vegas-income-tax-free-agency

Waller went on 1st take to talk about his pro bowl nod the other day and guess what happened right before he goes on? The Watson trade request goes public and the 1st question they asked him was about Watson. Chucky couldn't have drawn that shit up any better..you know he hit Waller with a text.." hey, Waller maaaan..say somethin nice about Watson, maaaan "

Cowherd and most of the FS1 crowd love to say random shit that doesn't add up.....not surprised. Waller would be the player that would excite Watson the most about potentially joining the Raiders. Carr would be a lost man without him.

This championship connection needs to be reunited.

Yes. Inject that Watson/Renfrow connection directly into my veins, kind sir. Lol But yeah, Waller is a beast. Shit, beast might be an understatement. Think Waller would probably split out and play WR more often with a QB that's constantly threatening the defense and looking to go deep downfield. And Moreau is about ready to see more time at TE after the ACL

Will Fuller is also leaving the Texans, just in free agency. So if Chucky has to send Ruggs to Houston for Watson, pretty sure Watson would have an inside track on recruiting Fuller to Vegas in free agency and just like that we have another deep threat but one that already has chemistry with Watson

Multiple @NFL sources indicate to me that Derek Carr is a hot commodity. And it is expected that multiple teams will pursue him via trade That could lead to the @Raiders pursuing Deshaun Watson in a blockbuster trade.

Pissed at the Niners all over again after this half

KC down by multi TDs again. Will somebody finally shut the door on their asses? Barrett and Pierre Paul need heavy maintenance at half time, tires rotated, etc.

KC really should've lost to the Browns. Wouldn't blame the Browns if they tried to trade for Watson

Unbelievable performance by the Bucs D tonight. I know Brady will get all the headlines tomorrow, and deservedly so, but the Bucs holding the Chiefs to no TDs is nothing short of incredible. Brady knew what he was doing when he went to the Bucs, all the pieces were there for this run.

I ain't blaming anyone. TB got gifted 14 in the first half by the refs but that didn't matter, part of it was Andy Reid's fault for calling timeouts that let them have time at the end of the half to even go down and score. Britt Reid is a dumb ass and went and distracted his father and the team at the worst possible time, but that ain't why. Chiefs got out played. OL pushed out 4 terrible backups and the only decent, healthy one was the least important member of the line (the center). Mahomes had to turn around and run backwards because there was free rusher on about half his snaps. He still had a couple TD's hit receivers right in the helmets while making pressured off balance throws though. I'm just bummed out. Tom Brady needs to go away. He's won enough of these.

He had a good amount of fortune too. Green Bay loses their LT, KC loses their whole line. Just same old same old for Brady.

Yeah pretty surprised to see KC get held to 0 TDs. I mean I knew the Bucs pass rush would get after Mahomes and KC is fairly overrated but not 0 TDs overrated. Niners really blew it last year giving up that 3rd and 15 bomb to Hill. Mahomes really should be 0-2 in the SB TBH

Bucs definitely had the defense in place for the most part. Still needed Suh to follow Brady and to draft Winfield. Offense needed AB and Gronk to follow as well but they did and ultimately I thank them. Hopefully the Super Bowl hangover is next for KC..should've been this year

Anyone who beats the 49ers is fine by me.

Suh was with the Bucs the previous year. Agree on Winfield. Stud.
