i just really don't think a lot of people get it. Pacquiao's not my favorite fighter, but i respect the hell out of him..the guy has been through it. dirt poor growing up..literally..bare feet on the dirt. and while Mayweather beefs with his dad and disrespects him time and time again..Pacquiao's dad left his family when he was just a toddler. for him to be as cool and as gracious as he is a miracle..thank God he can get in the ring, whip ass and take out some demons there..who knows what he'd be doing if he didn't have that outlet.

when boxers get to the level of boxing that those two are at, they start to measure heart and study the origins of opponents. a lot of people don't know Pacquiao's background and how he's been toughened since he was a youth..however, i don't think Mayweather is one of those people. i think Mayweather is not only aware of the talent, but also very aware of what Pacquiao represents, hence the dodging all these years. Mayweather's own dad gave up the goods regarding Floyd's uncertainty.

anyway, check out the fight below. maybe you've seen it before, but some funny things from it..1) you'll see Derek Jeter in the crowd smiling and in a replay of a knockdown he's kinda lookin like " OMG! " while Pacquiao is in the midst of attacking Cotto. Lol 2) later on the fight, in the final few rounds when Cotto is just basically running for his life, the commentators get bored and start talking about what?..you guessed it..a damn Pacquiao-Mayweather fight. and yes this fight is from 5yrs ago. it will truly disgust you even more than Cotto's face to hear them talking about it..

TBH, a lot of that stuff doesn't even really bother me, bro. i know that some of it is to promote himself and whatever. Ali did a lot of that in his day..some of the stuff he couldn't do back then of course and then everything is magnified today. but yea, there are some things that Mayweather should STFU about..like his comments on domestic abuse a little while back. he's truly ignorant in various aspects of society.

however, i don't even expect him to be knowledgeable or righteous. he's a dumb boxer..if you get one of those guys that is aware and has some sense, it's icing on the cake, imo. Lennox Lewis, Ali, Foreman, Ray Leonard, Pacquiao..there are others too..they all have sense. what i hold against Mayweather is his ducking and dodging Pacquiao. you have to fight the best and it's not good enough to wait until the both of you are old. you don't get to claim to be the greatest, or in the conversation with the greatest, if you deliberately evade your generation's greatest competition and a certain hall of famer.
