harpers swing is crazy. He engages his entire body to create that power with crazy bat speed, rotation and balance

Obviously, I missed the creation story, of how Kemp became " the chinchilla".Like Jor-el and Kal-el and Krypton exploding...and Peter Parker getting bitten by a radiated spider, etc.,etc.But just how did Kemp become this little rodent thing, down from the huge powerful bison, an iconic American symbol as well?
I'm curious, since what I see/saw of him, he is way more bisonic" than " chinchilla-like...IMO, anyway. WAY more...
Or do you just hate him, and consider a chinchilla nickname demeaning?
Why not "cucaracha" or something like that?

    OK ,I get it.
But if what he did last year is soft, then we've got some jellyfish on the team
Can't get softer than that, can you?
OK... maybe Cosby's penis these days.

He had a great 2nd half for going half speed. He plays to not get hurt now so his potential will be limited.

As I say about internet arguments (we're not at that level regarding this topic).

One person's opinion is another's amusement since rarely do two agree. And if they do happen to eventually agree, it's because one is weak minded.

Actually, I wasn't defending Kemp or anything.
I honestly wondered why you called him chinchilla. You know, from bison...I thought maybe it had to do with banging Rhianna or something.

Man I get pissed off arguing with people who think Harper is overrated. The things he's done at his age are pretty incredible.

OVERRATED, bases on how the media rates him, dude had 32 RBI's in nearly 400 PA's. That is just terrible. He's good, but he isn't a superstar.

What do RBIs have to do with evaluating his performance?

I don't necessarily think he's overrated, I just hate him because he's a prima donna motherfucker without much of a resume to back it up.

Yeah, it's strictly a hate thing with me.

    • Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said he's undecided on a starting pitcher for Thursday's series finale in San Francisco. Mattingly will pitch Brett Anderson and Clayton Kershaw Tuesday and Wednesday on four days rest. Thursday would be Zack Greinke's day to pitch on four days' rest, but Mattingly seems to be leaning toward inserting a fifth starter that day to give the rotation an extra day of rest, starting with Greinke. "It's about our guys getting rest, not just going every five, every five, every five," he said. "This is all about getting guys extra rest early, knowing a stretch is coming when we're not going to get that." The Dodgers would need to promote a starting pitcher from Triple-A to make that Thursday start. Unless the Oklahoma City rotation is juggled, the two most likely candidates for a callup would be Mike Bolsinger and Zach Lee.

    • Hyun-Jin Ryu continues to make steady progress in his rehab from a left shoulder impingement. He played catch Sunday, throwing changeups and breaking balls, but he still hasn't thrown off a mound. Ryu wouldn't speculate when he would be able to rejoin the club.

It's definitely looking like Bolsinger on Thursday. I kind of would like Kershaw and Greinke to both pitch against SF.

I also selfishly would like ZLee to make the start over Bolsinger, but Bolsinger has been pitching great in OKC, so it's fine. He's likely going to need to make 3 or 4 starts for us.

I was thinking the exact same thing. But pushing Greinke back one day he gets to start against San Diego, and that might be better considering SD is ahead of SF in the standings.

Yeah, I'm in between, SD is probably going to be a bigger contender anyways and this way you get an ace against both teams.

But then again, it's also April, so it really doesn't matter.

Probably, but I just enjoy beating the Giants more. And it pains me greatly to say it, but they ARE the defending champions.
