if not, i'd rather have turner and/or kíkë out there than rollins

The thing is both Turner & Kike aren't true shortstops. Rollins is at least average defensively

    i know
and rollins probably wouldn't be as glaring if he were hitting eighth
the one thing that really pissed me off yesterday was him swinging at the first pitch after joc's double
you swing at that first pitch you had better move the runner at the very least
    a veteran should know that
so far we're 0-for-2 in getting production from ex-phillies [victorino]
may be a warning to stay away from hamels

    Grant Holmes: 6IP 1H 0R 2BB 9SO

It looks like we might have hit on a good one in the draft last year.

Holmes went from drafted to top 6 prospect in our system so no surprise. Very young as well. Can't wait to see who we draft next month since it'll be our 1st post Logan.

Zach pitched today and of course we had the Frias meltdown, what are the chances he gets called up for a spot start? Today's line 7 innings, 4 hits, 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Corey broke a 0 -12 today with a hit!!!!

    More De Leon luh

    Margit (San Diego)
Do you project Jose De Leon in the Dodger's system to be a MLB starter in the future?

Yes, maybe a very good one. Probably a top 50 prospect at this point.

I don't find Rollins just average at ss....maybe his stats say he is, but he's pretty solid there, what I see.
Who I think needs to rest a while, get it together, and Kike play in his stead, is SVS. I know he is a big favorite here, and been the hero, but he is , right now, deplorable AB. Seems like he doesn't have a clue up there....

Keith laws updated top 25 prospects (those still in minors)

    2. Corey Seager, SS
    Los Angeles Dodgers
    Current level: Triple-A (Oklahoma City)

I'm still in the camp that says he's moving to third base -- he's far too big for short and doesn't have the footwork -- but he projects as an All-Star at the hot corner with a the trio of batting average, power and defense.

    7. Julio Urias, LHP
    Los Angeles Dodgers
    Current level: Double-A (Tulsa)

Still just 18 years old and already in Double-A, Urias has cut his walk rate from 3.8 walks per nine innings (at high Class A) in 2014 to just 2.2 BB/9 in his first seven starts at Double-A. He has the three pitches to succeed in the majors right now, but his command might not be there yet. That said, this year's control improvement is a positive sign for his development, especially because he's the age of many high school seniors in this year's draft class.

    24. Jose De Leon, RHP
    Los Angeles Dodgers
    Current level: Double-A (Tulsa)

Just ninth in the Dodgers' system coming into the year, the Puerto Rico-born De Leon eviscerated California League hitters even while pitching in a high-offense environment, earning a promotion to Double-A last week. De Leon, a 24th-round pick out of Southern University, has three above-average pitches, excellent command and control and deception in his delivery that continues to fool hitters even as he has moved up the ladder.
