Rollins hitting .250 over the last 3 weeks...certainly hurts a lot less than .170

I'll take Rollins hitting 240 with 10-15 hrs for the year if he's in the 8th spot.

Yeah, I agree JRoll in the 2 spot is dopey right now, but I'll take his glove all day long and twice on Sunday. It's DBB, and it's a Dodger thing, I fear.
Just like I think Pederson is not a lead off hitter with the huge K total. I mean, are they actually serious about grooming this guy permanently for this?
Although, yesterday , even though only one day, he showed something else besides the three results he usually gets. That's really good.
If he is going to get on from singling/doubling more often, Rollins has to learn how/where to bunt.
You'd think he would know by now....four feet in front of the plate doesn't get it, IMO.

Normally I'd say Callaspo was looking for more money but I'm sure they would have offered him more if they thought he and the pitchers were worth it. Reports say he like it in Atlanta and didn't want to play in So. Cal????? Idiota! Juan in the clubhouse is invaluable but to have to deal with his current state of play is frustrating.

Reports need to probably say he isn't going to play in LA and is a FA after the season. Braves are dumping him either way.

Braves, struggling against left-handers, face a tough one in Kershaw
by Mike Bonzagni, ESPN Stats & Information — 10 minutes ago

The Atlanta Braves will run into a pitcher they have trouble with when they face Clayton Kershaw and the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night. The current Braves roster has struggled against Kershaw, with 17 hits in 112 at-bats (a .152 batting average), two home runs and 38 strikeouts.

Kershaw has won 15 consecutive decisions against National League East teams, including wins in eight consecutive starts.

But his fastball has been feast or famine this season. He's throwing it harder than he has in years (93.4 mph) and striking out more batters (22 percent strikeout rate), but hitters are doing more damage when they do connect (a .466 slugging percentage this season compared with .361 last season).

The Braves’ offense has been pedestrian against all left-handers this season. It ranks 25th or worse in home runs, slugging percentage and called-strike percentage.
