    Deals with Alvarez, Heredia, and Brito are official. Eddy Julio Martinez is reportedly weighing his options, and won't sign today.

    Keep in mind, this spending doesn't to this time period (a few days in july), they can sign anybody who may be declared free agent between now and the middle of next june.

    Player of the day
    Returning from injury, Zach Lee's "rehab" outing in Arizona could not have gone any better from a box score standpoint. Lee pitched five perfect innings, striking out two, with an eight to three ground out to fly out ratio. Obviously, Lee's polish is superior to the talent found at the Rookie level, and if healthy he should dominate these hitters, but proving that health was the key. The Dodgers have gone through several rotation options at the big league level and can't stand another injury to a starting pitcher, so getting Lee back to Oklahoma City pitching soon would go a long way to restoring depth. Should Lee pick up where he left off in Triple A, we might even see him start to challenge for a role in Los Angeles regardless of the rotation's health.

    1 -3 tonight with his 7th HR tonight and he now has 27 RBI but he has been struggling a bit. He's down to .285. The real story has been Austin Barnes, .303 with 3 RBI and an OPS of .835 Have heard nothing about Hector other than he was at a D-Bag game watching the game.
