Hey, at the very least Kershaw brought his postseason ERA down from 5.12 to 4.99.

Woke up believing this series is far from over. Let's get it tonight. Greinke for 7 and then Hatcher and Jansen. I'll allow Howell or Avilan for a lefty.

Noah is bustin out 95 with pretty good control. If they don't tag him...well, I don't even wanna think about that. But I can't believe these mothafuckas also have Zack Wheeler on the shelf.

You all are delusional if you think we are winning. This offense has been in hibernation for 3 months and we just got our highest-paid asses handed to us by a rookie while he went up against our ace.

Stick a fork in us. No reason for being optimistic. At best, we will lose in 4.

That 100 game stretch of .500 ball...it must be mentioned somewhere on DBB's headstone

In fairness, Murphy and Yoenis are free agents at the end of the year, so their payroll either goes up 80 mill or they deal one or two of those pitchers

Well that was a shitty game to go to

I don't even know what was the worst part. The offense shitting itself. The feeling when the 7th inning started that "hm, this game is about to get out of hand" when you have your ace out there

I know lots of ppl probably said to keep Kershaw in for Wright but I actually think he was in there one batter too long. When he starts walking people late in game, bring someone in. Avilan vs. granderson would have been a good matchup. But, none of it matters, all that does is being down 1-0

Maybe we'll win today then it all goes down to a Harvey - Anderson matchup. So basically: the offense is going to have to carry this team to the next round.

If we lose in the first round, it will just feel exhausting to care about this stuff throughout an entire season

The thing is there's always a narrative and a hero... For the other team.

"Here's a list of Wrights injuries, some doubted he would ever be back here"

And who hits the fucking killer blow, while we are trotting out our narrative heroes, Ethier and Crawford blah blah blah crowded outfield. That's all we got, and they're shit.
