Have had head tacos and it was the head meat. Nothing goes to waste.

I was in Costa Mesa once on a business trip once. We ate early at a place on the harbor with a Hooters across the parking lot. There was no one there and we were very relaxed and had a good meal. I had a grilled salmon that was excellent. I have no idea what the name of the place was.

This was in 2003 I believe, and my recollection of the town was that it was very clean. The next day we ate at a place that I don't recall the name of either, but it was a "satellite" of a place that was famous for it's 'star' clientele, with autographed photos, portraits everywhere. I've only been to California twice, both as business trips, LA (Torrence) and Costa Mesa.

If the you were on "the harbor" as in water, you were in Newport or Huntington Beach when you ate (both very close to Costa Mesa), if you were on "the harbor" as in Harbor Blvd... I looked it up and there is an Ikea across the street from the Hooters on Harbor... so maybe you were eating Swedish Meatballs? Anyway, Costa Mesa is a nice town, some good Mexican food, nice dog park, and our vet is in Costa Mesa.

It was on the water, big boats and yachts across the way. The Hooters wasn't across the street, it was across the parking lot. We actually walked over and had a beer after dinner. Like I said, it was like 2003 so the landscape has probably changed since I was there. I just remember that as we were en route to the business we were checking out that the streets seemed cleaner than any place I'd ever been. I was very impressed.

Right on. Probably Newport Beach (just outside of Costa Mesa). Probably an old Hooters that doesn't exist anymore, but the yachts and nice streets check out.

If you in OC and some white or asian dude swears they know the best mexican place dont believe them.
Ive been taken to taqueria de anda too many times and its garbage.
    Beans from a can.
Meat cooked elswhere just warmed up there.
    I look into kitchens.

Good bet if you pressed for time during lunch hour is is to walk into the local corner carniceria market where they have butchers and produce and women who can cook all in the same spot.
For 5 bucks get your big tasty asada burrito with all the free veggie and salsa fixings and on your way out a half litre of mexicoke and some pan dulce from their bakery.
Out the door for less than 8 bucks for a great tasting complete meal.

Read a lot of "NLW is shit" stuff this season so far, and a goodly amount here, too.
Looking at the overall standings of MLB, and their pitching peaking solidly at a very fine level now, I guess the fucking Giants are the only "not shit " team in the nlw then?
Leading in their game against the Pads right now, they stand pretty much right with the other division leaders in all divisions.
Sure hope they commence to collapsin' soon...

and he still got he "W" to go 9-0 since the Cubs put up 6 before he came out.

:smh: I just KNOW that East coast media will forget all about this rough outing when trying to figure out how to screw Clayton out of another Cy Young award
