    pacifico is good
    and tecate is underrated

and a lot of beer snobs
i personally do not like domestics

Modelo is my favorite of the mexican beers. Somehow it's better in a can.
    Negro Modelo is good too.
But it seems like Modelo is becoming the new PBR.

I do like some "good" beer too. Paulaner Octoberfest is my favorite. Any martzen style beer is usually good in my book.

I prefer the Sierra Nevada Torpedo to Lagunitas (which is good, too). Doesn't have quite the bite the Lagunitas does.

    :this:

I like just about every IPA I've tried, with few exceptions. I guess I'm a 60+ hipster. And mousey is oh so right about the mild Lagunitas IPA. It's not bad, but I absolutely love their Lagunitas Sucks and Lagunitas Brown Shugga. Not true IPA's, but DAY-UMMM, they're good. If you can find it try Founders Centennial IPA, very solid. And if you think all IPA's are bitter try a good old Goose Island IPA, it has a nice crispness to it.

btw, anyone ever tried Left Hand Brewing's Four Hundred Pound Monkey?

    Hipster :D

No, I know that it's not all emperors new clothes. People actually like that beer style and can tell the difference (they all taste the same to me).
You'd love it down here, you can't shake a stick around here without running into a brewery that peddles 8 different types of IPAs. They all love to advertise how ridiculously high the IBU number is on all their beers.

I've found myself liking Pacifico too. Teh wife and I frequent a Mexican place here and I look at the beers and end up with the Pacifico. Not fond of Tecate. Fosters is not bad, I have one once in a while.

Interesting. I find the Torpedo to be sharper than Lagunitas. Not that it's a bad thing.

You're down in San Diego, right? Definitely an IPA hub. Stone is a big player, and honestly a harsh line of IPAs, so I know what you are talking about with the IBU wars. Still, I enjoy the harsh ones down there. Codge is right about Goose Island as an example of a much more mild IPA. In my experience, IPAs give you a good amount of flavor and punch without being overly filling like dark beers. And that's what I like.

I actually think that too, at least with the regular Lagunitas IPA. Once you get to the other Lagunitas IPAs like Lil Sumpin', Sucks, etc, it changes.

Not all Mexican places have it, but I order Negra Modelo when available. I don't mind Mexican style lagers, but they are not my first choice.

Yeah. North County to be exact.
The Ballast Point beers are really popular down here. Everyone loves Sculpin.
Mother Earth and Lost Abbey are popular too.

Both Ballast Point and Sculpin are good beers enjoyed near PB
    but its like Diablo opines
I like lots of different beers
for different reasons, time of day, location, whatever
Love a Guinness on St. Patty's but rarely otherwise
    Prefer lagers and white Ale's
Buddy from Seattle is total IPA hop lover
I'm only good for one or two before looking for something else
This racist prefers Mexicans like Pacifico, Sol, Modelo.. even Tecate in a pinch
but not Dos Equis or XXX or especially not Corona's

I like Ballast Point but they are a bit too proud of them.

#Raiders OC Bill Musgrave says he sees DeAndre Washington as an every down back...He and Murray could develop into a helluva 1-2.

Love that he's a small back behind what's probably the largest O-line in the league, should be pretty tough to locate
I need some good news on Walford tho

We desperately need a back to compliment Murray....glad to hear the praise about Washington.

Me too cause Taiwan Jones hasn't cut it at all
Reece can always help in spots, but hell, he's missing the first 2 games because of suspension
