I was speaking to them being behind 8-10pts with a few minutes left in the 4th quarter last night
Thomas is a beast in those situations, regularly marches them back into games offensively

I agree that from a macro-perspective, Boston should probably think about moving on from Thomas after next season when he becomes a FA.
Of course landing that #1 overall pick gives them a lot of flexibility in that regard

Oscar De La Hoya whining about Fayweather v. McGregor as a circus because he is not promoting it.

Also Oscar needs to cut back on the burritos as his tailor made shirt bulges all over from his fat gut.

I might think that someone who has been in the public spotlight as much as Oscar has would know better. Or not.

You do not need a lot, a little faith can move mountains.
Because faith is not belief, if you think it means belief then that is all you got, belief and nothing ever happens. Your belief is in nothing.
Faith is like a mustard seed. Why though?
Because a person with a tiny seed of faith can transplant himself and his seed from one mountain (culture/nation/power/government/system) to a barren wasteland but then nurture and water and feed that mustard seed until it blossoms and spreads into mustard tree the size of a mountain.
    So what is faith?
It is not getting a seed and then holding up the seed to the sky and saying Amen.
It is doing something with it.
Faith entails that you have first the BELIEF that something will happen and the KNOWLEDGE that it will.
But to get that knowledge you must first take a giant LEAP to WALK the WAY so you can CROSS the BRIDGE that you cant see.
Because all you can see is the PROMONTORY where the bridge begins and after that all you see is dead space.
And you dont want to walk the plank.
    You are afraid.
And normally you would not be able to overcome your fear. You are not strong enough.
But you have been going step by step, one at a time, following the plan/way and now you see the peninsula ahead of you jutting into the over and above the great gap.

But if Indy could do it...

disagree wholeheartedly on the knowledge part
faith is a confidence or belief, but it is often unjustified... sometimes arrogance
see the mayans, heaven's gate, et al

    none of that is faith
the meanings of terms have been twisted
language is what makes culture not the other way around
when we change language we change our culture permanently.

how bout you go look at your language Irish, tell me what Faith means in Irish.
look it up if you do not know the term.
also look it up in Basque which is the closest thing we have to ancient Celts.

our word has been corrupted by the Roman Catholic Church who took a word that means something similar to how The Dude says "The Dude Abides".
    Abide is the key word.
Fay is also a key root word. Combined with the abstraction TH which is like the term we use "ness" like specialness, forgetfulness, etc...
It is a modifier that extends the word as more of an abstraction.
It takes the word Fay which is the root for Fairy and ads ness. So fairyness in a way. Not fairness lol.
Faries are not exactly what popular culture shows but more like how Tolkien showed the lady of the lake.
A fairy gives you what you need to finish your quest and become a man. What they offer you is faith. How you get it is by helping the fairy.
And where did your people get the concept of Fairies? From the ancient pagan (country folk as opposed to city slickers or village villains), who had their goddesses of FATE.
    And what is fate?
    Your destiny.
    And what is destiny?
    Your destination.
And how do you get there?
Baby you can drive my car...
