    We are now 6 games up on Houston.
    11.5 games up on Washington.
    14.5 games up on the Rockies.
    Cleveland and the Cubs are both in first place, and we are 17.5 games up on both of them.

    At this point it will be a shame if we don't finish this thing out.

    a shame?
    it will be a fucking collapse of unreal devastation for the entire organization for years to come if we don't win the division
    as far as the playoffs go anything short of a WS appearance is a fail
    lets not pretend that kind of pressure isn't out there

    Shame? Complete fail?

    I was talking about winning the WS. Everything. I assume the division is a lock at this point. From where we are today we need to win it all. You are right, "a shame" is downplaying it tremendously if we don't.

    One does not simply win the World Series. To expect such, when it essentially comes down to luck is setting yourself up for major disappointment. If the Giants can win three with the trash they threw out there, it's anybodies game.

    According to Dustin Nosler at Dodgers Digest, the Dodgers were close to acquiring Zach Britton, but the O's owner squashed the deal. This would have been done in addition to the Darvish deal.... MOTHER FUCKING ANGELOS
