If we're recommending Netflix comedy, check out "Humanity", the new Ricky Gervais stand up.
    Awesome.
    Brilliant.

Michael Moore and Oliver Stone, on the other hand, absolutely embrace it.

Steven Segal, Jason Priestly and the New Kids on the Block can relate to this.

It's almost like he kinda stopped caring about his career. I don't know why I got that feeling, but it was like his SNL days just didn't translate off SNL.

knock off wire wheels, 3 wipers, gauges that didn't work unless you rapped them, side draft carbs. Crashbox 1st gear but it handled like a go cart. U turns in alleys with ease. 1275cc and 60 HP but with curb weight of only 1575lbs!!

... taught me to be a mechanic
    monthly maintenance schedules
    biweekly maintenance schedules
    weekly maintenance schedules
    and they weren't the same
    fucker broke everywhere

If that is a MG in British racing green, I am both envious, and extremely sorry for you at the same time.

It's one of those cars that ideally, you need to tow a motorcycle behind you in case it just decides to stop and have a cup of tea on it's own schedule.

I understand modern car enthusiasts love for British classic cars....but what pieces of crap from a reliability standpoint.

    Correct on both points
Like I said it handled like a go cart but you always needed wrenches with you
for things that had no business failing
My Volvo C70 serves as my current placeholder convertible MUCH more reliable.. so far
until I can afford something nicer

    I know fuck English cars...true.
But there was a time I would have killed, I mean absolutely killed, for an E type Jaguar.
I wouldn't mind having a new Jag now either. Pretty sure you don't have to ride around these days with a mechanic in the boot.

Jaguars are the sexiest cars a regular guy could someday buy, that is true.
I wanted an old 70's jag for years.
But then i came to my senses.
And old buddy of mine used to drive jags exclusively.
    Always new ones.
He would tell me that you dont ever want to buy a jag.
    You lease it.

I am struggling right now y'all. My mom has been out of work for nearly 3 years and my uncle lost his job nearly 2 years ago then found out he wasnt a citizen after applying for work. He's spent nearly 40 years here, paid taxes the entire time, has a son in the military, and married to an American born citizen for 33 years going on 34. But he's not a citizen lol. Anyways, I've been the sole person taking care of every bill for my mother while providing a roof for them and every other necessity that goes along in everyday life. At this point my savings is gone, my 401k withdrawn and spent, and my checkings on the verge of being in the negative probably within a couple months. Yet, if i ever show any signs of distress or moments of weakness it makes my mother cry and aunt n uncle feel bad. I'm so sick of this shit.

It's at a point where I viscerally hate being "home" and I'm too fucking broke to even feel comfortable to spend a dime on anything because i know the bills are looming.

I dont know what to do y'all. When i look at my mom, uncle, or aunt, i get angry with them. I love em but how the fuck did it come my sole responsibility to take care of three grown adults.

    End rant

After all you've done, are doing still, and will probably continue to do, you're due some damn good karma...sure hope so.
It may seem like a long time coming, and sounds it is certainly is overdue, but I just refuse to believe that people like you aren't eventually rewarded for their sense of purpose and dedication and plain hard work.
Easy for another to say, I know, but stay with it. It'll come for you...
