I don’t think I can stomach seeing Roberts’ and Jansen’s ugly fat faces ever again.

I want them out of the organization like now.

I won’t be able to sleep tonight.

I’ve followed this team for 40+ years and I’ve learned to enjoy the moments like puig’s HR. Like Monday is 81 and Gibson in 88, there have been good times and bad times. As I get older and more bitter, I realize that those moments are fleeting. I’ll keep hoping for next year, trusting that the Big Dodger in the sky has one more winning moment for all of us.

What are we going to do, root for the Angels?

My problem with Dave is nothing he says adds up.

In Dave's pregame presser he said everyone was available. And he was stern about it "This is the WS" he said.

Yet Baez isn't available? This was the most important game of the year and he wasn't available? When you said he was? "This is the WS"..?

Then you get to the repeat mistakes. Early hook Hill, inherited runners Madson, POS Alexander and 6 out Jansen. He never learns. Hate to keep bringing up intangibles but he has no capacity for improv or gut decisions. It is the WS. You can plan all you want but plans change dude

Yes, it is the players. No doubt. When you see the stats, we are literally setting records for choking. That's on the whole team.

But Dave cannot return. Send a message to the fans that repeat mistakes and falling short wont be tolerated

Kenley is the worst though. He and Kershaw are far worse than Dave. So sick of them

I wonder what it is like to be Dave Roberts.

He is so inept that President Trump actually united the country with one of his tweets. That puts Dave in his own class of stupid, imo.

    Lol

    96 vs 92 does that
    less velocity less movement
    no complimentary pitches at all

Embrace the suckitude.. but do not resign him

Resign him and then trade him to a team desperate for a star for some good relievers.
Midway through next season you trade Manny, Joc, Bellinger, Kike, Kemp, Wood, Ferguson, Toles, Ross, Barnes, and Taylor for Trout and Otani.

Kenley needs heart surgery in the offseason so I doubt we can unload him.

Might hurt the Dodgers image and relationship with the PA if they bail on him under those circumstances.

Would be nice to get rid of him though.

Not to give too much attention the the presidential tweet (this isn't political), but it is interesting what he picked up on...

"...and brings in nervous reliever(s) who get shellacked..."

There is a human element to this game and it is telling that someone 3,000 miles away can tell when relievers like Madson and Alexander are clearly scared, but their own manager can't.

And it all adds up too. Madson himself has expressed publically before this series even that he's wearing down and looked like he was going to cry in the dugout. Alexander choked last night and could not find the zone in 4 pitches tonight.

Dave is literally there with his players every day and can't get the pulse of his team.

Those guys were nervous as fuck out there. No denying it. Yes, this is getting a little too "intangible", but still.

I also wonder why Cingrani couldn't make the roster when Julio had less innings of work and has looked great.

We could fire, keep, extend, trade, or murder Roberts and I really wouldn’t care or think it’d do anything either way. Nothing matters when you can’t trust your ace to put up a good game each time or for your closer to not choke. Shitty managers win all the time. Joe Maddon won and made a million idiotic moves. We’ve improved managers numerous times over the years but hasn’t mattered. Just shitty and hopeless when your pitching aces suck, your deadline acquisitions cant come through, your star rookies swing and miss on everything. I really wish I felt as if it was all on Roberts cause then I’d think it’s an easier fix but I don’t and it sucks.

Oh well. I’ll watch highlights of Puig’s home run. It’ll last with me in the same place as Joc’s home run last year and Seagers as “I felt amazing when these happened”

I'm so depressed that I don't even think I can stay on this board.

For some reason, this hurts more than Game 7 last year.

It's because Game 7 was really a failure of the players. But this one was really the plainly moronic and idiotic decisions of 1 man. So much momentum wasted due to stupidity. And everyone knew it....except that fool.

I don't care about back to back WS appearances. I want Roberts out. I just can't stand his face anymore.

was a little buzzed but not really angry in the end because you could see davey doing his thing
THREE times in ONE series he uses madson to shut down big innings w the same result WTF is that?
a guy having his worst season is thrown out there because...his own guys are scared and he has experience?
i certainly thought Baez was going to stake his claim this year or at least get a chance
watched a couple of snipets of the post game and didn't see a guy that felt he had any culpability or did i miss something?
he had his arms crossed in defiance and spouted the same old "get em next time" bullshit
enjoyed my jacuzzi and woke up this morning w the same unfortunate memory of last night we all are stuck with
but i bet no one else took an errant elbow to the face at 430am like i did
so now i have that feeling plus a sore jaw lol
    fml and fuck dave roberts
if you give him a pass on last year thats one thing but this has to be the end
no way he's coming back and fans smart enough to see what happened can't possibly support another inning of this moron
surprised Lasorda wasn't arrested for assault
