I legitimately forgot David Freese was on the team until today

Harper seems to have more teams interested in him than Machado does, so it probably still makes sense for him to wait as one of those teams are likely to panic.

In all reality, let's be real here. A $330M 10yr deal for Harper or Machado will more than likely come with a player option at around the 4 or 5 year mark? That would be their age 30/31 season if I'm doing my math properly. If Harper or Machado blow it up 2 or 3 of those years they more than likely will opt out to get paid again, let them walk then. Worst case scenario we get fucked for the remainder of the 10 years because they don't opt out, but fuck it, we are in LA we need to go all in! Plus we fucked Time Warner for $8.35 Billion anyways, $330M out of that doesn't seem too shabby!

Those two will definitely be considered. Montreal is the largest market in US/Canada without a team but it is unclear if Montreal will support a team with a different stadium. Plus the Expos weren’t well supported by that population either.

A third city that could be an option is Austin/San Antonio. They are two separate MSAs (but would serve as one market for baseball), with over 4.5 million people in cities that are about 75 miles apart, and 3-4 hours away from the nearest team. They are both in growth markets and have lots of corporations to buy luxury boxes and stadium signage.

Nashville and Charlotte are other options as well. Both are great cities and in areas that are growing rapidly. Charlotte seems more viable though since Nashville would be the second smallest market in the MLB. Only Milwaukee is smaller.

I believe that Portland is as close to a sure bet as you can get. That city is maniacally obsessed with their sports teams and their past support of MiLB should also help them out. They are the only city that has shown to have a willing ownership group to privately finance a stadium, which is just a massive headache to do these days. They also are the closest major city to Seattle, outside of Vancouver that could support an MLB team and the union has been saying for years that the league needs to get someone else up in the PacNW to make trips there easier.

I have no clue what the other team would be as there would be a lot of things at play. Montreal still has a stadium problem on their hands as the city has still shown no willingness to build one with public money(understandable) and I have heard nothing about an ownership group. Nashville and Las Vegas are two places I hear a ton about, but I think LV is out since they need to show they can support the Raiders and Knights for a couple years before I see MLB consider throwing them a bone. Not saying they can't, but the league may be wary of oversaturating a market too quickly.

According to Manny Machado's dad(so giant grain of salt here), the Dodgers are one of the teams to have offered a contract to Manny.

That and then the other way around as well
After being on a team full of guys that come up short year after year, I'd like to know how Machado feels about them
    Molly Knight is slacking

IIRC, Kenley and Machado were " Jordan BFFs "
Always excited over their little custom Jordan cleats

I had to laugh -- you know, "Van Slyke's dad" is actually known too, at least as much as Lavar Ball.

And a much better player than Scott.
I worded it in a way I felt would get the biggest laugh. Get the most out of little!

Sadly, I will bet more non sports fans know who Lavar Ball is at this point than Andy VS

In the sense that we need a RH bat, it makes total sense, I guess. Turner and/or Seager would have to be moved to the other side of the INF. But it could work I guess.

I think the dudes on our team like him just fine and the more I have heard about him, the more it sounds like he's a good dude in the clubhouse. His problem has always been that other teams and opposing players tend to really fucking hate him cause of the petty stuff he will pull from time to time.
