    Now Verlander gets his extension
That leaves Strasburg ( option) and Bumgarner as the top end starters in next year's FA class

Cole too, I wouldn’t expect the Dodgers to be in that market with Buehler, Urias, May not far off, Santana, etc

I Remember like it was yesterday. Truly magical.
I'm not much on gambling, but whenever I was in Vegas, I bet on the Dodgers with FV on the mound.
    Never lost. Never failed me.

Only times that matched it was Sandy on the mound or when Wills was on first base, everyone in the stadium knew he was going and he stole second anyway.

loudest collective cheer i've ever heard was game 2 of the 74 world series
this video doesn't do it justice
but there in person, it was deafening

It looks like the Dodgers will start the season not platooning at 2B. Sounds like Kikè will get a full time look after his breakout season and strong spring. Had he played 2B full time last year to qualify, he would have been the 6th most valuable player at the position.

Don't have Cole in that class. Probably had his best season last year, but still searching for consistency. Don't think he'll be pursued like Madbum or Stras. Not that I expect the Dodgers to land any of these guys. I'm purely looking at Philly's options, a lot of guys are coming off the board.

I could see Houston letting Cole walk and replacing him with Arrieta

Arrieta or Madbum. Probably Madbum. Astros/Madbum feels like a fit. Doubt Madbum wouldn't be happy in Texas

I remember...not long ago...when opening day felt like an event. I'd count down the days with anticipation.
Now, it's like..."The season is starting next week? Shit, here we go again".

Hey, the dbags don’t have any hitters left so we should at least be able to go 1-3

    We got a young Kike.
    Better than an old Troy.

Why? So he can play 20 games before six of his bones break?

Caleb Ferguson does a better Kershaw than Kershaw. Minus the choking in the post.
