Tony La Russa said that about Pollock? " Everything about his game has life" ?
Shit for about a week, I thought they might have signed Jackson Pollack...

Hey...does the Jumbotron or Diamondvision or whatever it's called in DS have the superimposed box around the K zone?
I would guess not, but it would be interesting for umps to see the frequency of their suckitude.

Decided to break my own rule and check in on the game
    6-0 is cool
But Seager looks like Juan Pierre-lite
    Truly weak swings
Perhaps his top-5 MVP, perennial all-star self is gone. I'll give it until the end of June to decide

So the top-tier play of the game as Joc hitting a homerun? What about verdugo's single that knocked in 2? Or HIS homerun?

Vertigo imo has won the LF position. He has looked productive and though small sample looks like and has hit lefties pretty good from observation don’t have the stats I am old school and call it how I see it Seems to be injecting some type of swagger slash fuck you image fire type play or attitude. I like it

Seager coming of a season lay off and some good ass surgery he isn’t going to step in at the level he left expect to be teased but he will bounce back later way later then sooner. Confident he will be ok

    no more platooning

    Taylor OF/MI
    Pederson OF
    Freese 1b

Kike MI /OF/ 1b and Muncy CI/ 2b versatility is sweet here, were they don’t have to sit and continue to be in the lineup everyday

Martin C once healthy but prefer Smith over Gale just because Smith D is solid until Martin’s return

Just keep playing Russian roulette with the pitching staff and hope by messing around we ain’t losing ground to the Madres.

Don’t like that cheap strategy when you have Keuchel and Kimbrel out there

    Santana demoted Sborz time

That’s why every player that leaves LA under this regime has no desire to come back because of the platooning at least the good ones and the word travels faster then you think.

Sometimes honesty is the best policy then feeding them this team platooning concept.

Baseball is a high dollar business and these significant high contracts say so.

So if I am a player your organization is holding me back fuck you as soon as I can run I ain’t looking back

Your basically already scaring any player that could be a nice upgrade because of your concept.

If I am Bellinger and now that everyone knows what I can do, any grudge I have against this regime I am gone. I want Trout money but you holding me back from my potential when I needed you instead you sat me and never let me prove myself

If I am Verdugo I would say smell you laters and please give a swift kick ass out the door I promise you all doing me a favor

Taylor is a great complimentary piece to give some guys some rest we are lucky to have such a versatile player that is not bad or great as an of the bench piece and that is his role

Pederson is strictly platoon until he learns how to be decent against lefties that’s the only thing holding him back from being elite but if he snaps out of it he will reward you handsomely and make you look like a genius. But for this season he lost the battle to Verdugo and having him as our everyday starter balances out our lineup and makes us that much stronger

It’s not rocket science what you see is what it is let the kid play worse case scenario he is great trade bait if your not impressed. What is ones teams trash is another teams treasure

Joc and the Dodgers have both made the decision to stop trying the hitting lefties thing.
    He is what he is
If he is going to 136 wrc+ against RHP and come up clutch in the post, he's a guy you want on your team.

The only question is, if you have a player like Verdugo who can hit both LHP/RHP, hit for a high average, low K%, good OBP, XBH, better defense and arm...who would you rather have?

The Dodgers need to figure that out or wait until Pollock goes on the 60 day DL.
Or, if Muncy can handle 2B, perhaps you slide Bellinger back to 1B to pen RF for Alex.

it’s like we say every year...
too many platoon guys that can hit only rhp or lhp
and when they go into slumps they’re even more limited

Adrian, Turner, Seager (maybe), Kent and Manny, and perhaps Hanley are the only recent players off the top of my head that just knew how to hit the baseball no matter what. They never went up there and looked like a complete moron for days, weeks or seasons at a time. A healthy Drew could rake as well.
