Yep, Presti took West to the woodshed on this one. Lost in the hype, I didn't even realize they had given up all those draft picks. My god. Five 1st rounders? I was just sort of keyed in on Gilgeous-Alexander going and being thankful for that, but that haul is ridiculous. West let emotions into his decision making, his thirst to knock off the Lakers. He wouldn't even give up Gilgeous-Alexander in talks to get AD, but he gives him up for a non-Top 10 guy + the all the picks. Don't even need a Clipper karma for this one. Other than Harden and Westbrook, George is about the most disappointing star in terms of playoff history. Can't wait to see George going it alone when Kawhi is sitting due to load management.
Don't care for this one, but at least they have Cook and maybe Caruso if they re-sign him for back up. Rondo is bound to get hurt again. Needs load management, IMO. 2 year deal..can't figure it out

Force the opponent to make tough long mid range shots. Give the rest of the cap space to JaMychal Green to add another stretch 4 and insurance against injuries for the big men. He is worth taking away from the Clippers. It makes allows the second unit to be pushed up the court by Rondo with Javale as the defensive backstop and 2 shooting guards spotting up with a stretch 4 waiting in the corner. Team can play both ways and still have leadership in the second unit. That gives the team a long depth chart between the end of the bench and the minor league prospects.
