No way that Kawhi was going to the Clippers without Paul George. So the trade was not a desperate move at all. They traded a rising young player and a bunch of future late first round picks for George and Kawhi and they screwed the Lakers and they saved the Clippers from complete obscurity for at least a decade possibly the last blow the sorry franchise could take before having to move to Newport Beach. George and Kawhi should move to Newport near Kobe followed by the Clippers building a new arena there and moving in 2020 to the Pond in the meantime. Just to mess with Kobe having to watch his neighbors ride their chopper to work while he used to have to fly a chopper to work in LA. Clippers and Lakers are the two best teams. Warriors and Sixers are tied for second place.

Rondo fucking up our offensive rating. He better not be starting over Caruso all season. Was really impressed with Caruso's defense and Vogel is a defensive guy, wants to be strong up the middle defensively. Makes too much sense to have Rondo running the 2nd unit with AD and Kuz. Not that I think AD is coming off the bench, of course, I'm talking rotations. Maybe even bring Boogie off the bench, so Rondo can have his old familiar New Orleans' setup with AD/Boogie
