Just got power back after a day without it...last night, during the attempt at sleeping with no A/C, it came to me in a hyperthermic dream:
    We get no one.

With exception of the signage, I like all the proposed changes.

On a less serious note, I'm intrigued by the image that shows Kershaw pitching right-handed.

.... and Frank gets half the revenue since it's in the lot? I always wondered if they stipulated as to what would be considered re-development under the language of their deal? This is definitely ballpark related rather than lodging or a stand alone restaurant or shopping. I dunno, but I'm sure Frank had to have been consulted and/or paid for this. Fucking GuGG's mooches! LOL

He gets an annual flat payment that's already been negotiated, not direct revenue.

Spank is going to make money beyond his flat annual 14 million count on it. If not he'll see them in court.

Probably. I just meant until now, that's been the case.
People thik he collects a percentage of parking fees and stuff like that which is not the case.
But as far a s development goes, I'm pretty sure he has interest in it. Forgot about that.

Doesn't he get the cirque parking money. Figure he must since it's a gouge. Used to be free in Santa Monica. Doesn't matter my days of going are almost done. Now the net is going to the foul pole in August. What next safety helmets? Get off your phone assholes. Never was an issue before.

It's like giving free needles and condoms to drug addicted hobos...
...or Pizza Hut gift cards to John Goodman.
They're just enabling people to look at their phones all game.
To the dugouts is fine, but 200-350 down the line? No need.
If you're watching the game you should be fine.

I like to be close to the game and don't like watching through a net. Couldn't always afford better seats and it's a distraction imo.

    This too
I had the rare opportunity to sit 5 rows behind the on deck circle the other day and the netting was distracting.

Of course, you have to have netting in that area, but down the lines should be fine without. Why obstruct more than you have to?

I can't fault anyone for thinking about fan safety first. As a father of a 20-month old, I can tell you that it's impossible to watch every pitch with young kids, even if you try. Now, would I sit in the front 10 rows with a 2-year old? God no. But unless you are going to ban kids under a certain age and/or force people to sign waivers for sitting in certain seats, I think expanded nets are a good idea. Swinging for the fences and pitching high-90's are things that are only becoming more prevalent in the game, not to mention the front rows at Dodger Stadium used to be harmless foul territory.
