Ehh, gotta say..you're definitely salty because you're a RAIDER fan. I mean, I definitely don't remember you being salty when they said AB would play against the Broncos on Monday Night after reports of his racist BS with Mayock....

:D Just sayin. It's OK, though, think we all get the frustration, but it definitely wasn't crickets after that report came down. AB was shit on quite a bit by fans and media alike for calling a Mayock a cracker. But yeah, ultimately, he got away with it.

People thinking no one would take a chance on him, or pay him any sort of respectable amount for his talent and few hours later he's getting $9M just to sign his name on a Patriots' contract. Pretty predictable. Tyreke Hill is about to ink a major deal in KC as well.

I saw so many Patriots' fans taking shots at AB after the report came down that he called Mayock a cracker and a bunch of other stuff, but they're all celebrating now because they have his football services. Funny, right? You're not to only one doing a 180. And that's the way it goes. Because in the world of sports, most fans don't give a rat's ass what players are doing, so long as they're helping their fave team win. Look at Andrew Luck's decision to retire..he was boo'd out of his home stadium by his own fans. Al Davis was the king of this shit back in the day and now it's Belichick laughing and taking chances on uber talented castoffs. I just wish Al were around for this one because AB would've gotten the Marcus Allen treatment..Al would've killed his fuckin career. Al would've taken on the NFLPA and whomever else wanted some of his lawyers. AB would've been on ice.

Oh and the media spin will be fun to see as well. Because as shitty as AB has been away from the field..reported racist remarks, frozen feet, helmet saga, etc....all the things that they've made fun of AB for over the past month or so..they're about to slurp Belichick all next week for signing AB. It's going to be " genius ". Also predictable.

Shit, it's already begun. Media heads are shrugging and explaining it as " horses for courses ".." AB is better with New England! " Lol All this shit just makes me miss prime Al Davis. Because prime Al would've been " the genius ".

So it wasn't a dream? AB is a Patriot?

    Fuck.

This would be like LeBron joinng the Warriors last offseason instead of the Lakers. Just hand NE a ring.

Nope. Not salty at all. Not pulling a “180” as you put it either. I would have been ok with him remaining a Raider and taking his fine. But dude gets to be an absolute racist jackass in the public eye Without consequence ?

It’s amazing. So called “White privileged”guys would be facing a long road of ridicule if the tables were turned.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure we were both a little more than just " OK " with AB remaining with the team after the reports of his racist comments to Mayock. You were happy as hell in that post. " We're crazy, pillaging..I love'em..just win, baby! " Lol The only harsh consequences we wanted for his racist remarks were touchdowns against the Broncos.

I mean, it's OK, but just the false outrage over the lack of penalty for his racist comments aren't really consistent. It is what it is. And his contract actually was void in response, so something was done about it. As for wanting more public outrage/ridicule over his comments..again, AB was raked over the coals pretty well by the media and is still getting it..will likely continue to get it because a high profile jackass. But the thought that a Mayock would never work in the NFL again if he said something racist..a wee bit inaccurate. And that goes for exces, coaches and players. We've heard the stories..whether its current RAIDER Richie Incognito and his racist past, Steve Sarkisian, Carolina's former owner, etc. Guys have gotten away with that and kept moving forward..yes, even today. Because we know damn well that was just the norm years ago. And it even crosses sports..there's this guy in the NBA named Danny Ferry. Look his shit up. And he said what he said a few years ago..in Atlanta. Most recently he was working with the New Orleans Pelicans, so yeah. He's good. Just saying. That's the reality of sports..if you do the job you're asked of and you do it the way they want you to, they'll have you around. Reality of the world.

As the NBA moves into a parity era..the NFL leaves it? TBH, the Patriots have been dominating the NFL for a long fuckin time. That NFL parity shit is bogus. Everybody's playing catch up with the Pats. There's no parity going on anywhere with the 3 major sports..well, with the NBA for now.

RIP Al Davis..he never would've allowed this.

But you would've been OK with him remaining a RAIDER, just taking his fine..still playing and getting paid big money. Don't see how it changes much. He'd still get to do what he wants..for us. Meaning he'd score touchdowns and we'd cheer.

As for the money he received..offended parties have to talk to NFL ownership about that. AB reportedly called Mayock a cracker and yet just a few days later this guy had a " robust " market for his brief moment in free agency, as Rosenhaus put it. The $9M signing bonus/potential $15M deal didn't come out of the kindness of Belichick's heart. There were several teams in on AB, and reportedly one more serious suitor. We'll eventually find out who that team was, but yeah. Point is, his talent and availability caused a bidding war, regardless of his racist comments. There's nothing to be done about that..other than gripe about it. And the media, fans, and anybody else can do their worst to him..but he's in the money. Again. The way the cookie crumbles.

It's not even fair to ask Tyrell Williams to be the #1 receiver, so I have to imagine that Chucky is looking to remedy that ASAP. Aside from McKenzie wasting 2nd and 3rd round picks year after year, there are 3 main reasons why Chucky shouldn't be at fault for trying with AB. Obviously, RAIDERS are moving to Vegas and needed a star. AB is a HOF is his prime..overwhelming majority of coaches would have given it a shot. And Carr needed a #1 WR for further evaluation of his own potential moving forward.

That being said, there was 1 huge reason why it may have failed down the line anyway, and that's just because the team would've been 8-8 or 9-7 at best and likely miss the playoffs..which may have sent AB into some whirlwind social media shitstorm. They put big money on the table, in part to sort of try to keep him happy and OK with a building year. But obviously, that money didn't mean enough..especially when guaranteed money was on the table in New England and Brady is out there. So now the RAIDERS are just back into the typical rebuild..will likely look to add another star at some point over the next year. AJ Green stuff is out there now..pretty predictable

We both already knew that..I mean the W being the most important thing at the end of the day. Hell, if Kaepernick were on par with Andrew Luck or Phil Rivers in talent, Kaepernick wouldn't even be blackballed right now. The W. The $. We know how it goes.

It was so predictable that I woke up today despising the RAIDERS more than the Patriots. That's a heavy feeling.

Was this orchestrated by the Pats and AB? You bet your ass. AB's media bitch Jeff Darlington just so happens to be in New England outside of Gillette Stadium when this happens? Riiiight. GTFO. Throw Rosenhaus in there too, of course..who was also Gronk's agent..and one of the all time slimeball agents, but the RAIDERS knew Rosenhaus was shady to begin with. However, when they orchestrated AB's departure from Pittsburgh, I was definitely among those celebrating how the RAIDERS were seemingly going to be the beneficiary. Yup. Hand raised. So yeah, it's definitely frustrating when it happens to your team, but it's no surprise. Super predictable on a micro level. Once the ball got rolling and " release " started being talked about, the 1st word that popped into my mind was " Patriots. "

Just get this fuckin team to state income tax free Vegas already. Get us +3 wins in 2019/20, and +3 wins on arrival in Vegas in 2020/21. Give fans a 10-6 Vegas RAIDERS team in their inaugural season and they can set sail from there. Really not too much to ask, TBH. 9th youngest team in the league this year and a good coaching staff..keep adding young talent in free agency and the draft. Sure would be nice if the Bears suck it hard this season and we get 2 picks in the top half of the 1st round. A 6-10 Bears season and 7-9 RAIDERS. Although, as ridiculously tough as the RAIDERS' schedule is this season, they'll probably need some luck to be 7-9. 6-10 is probably more realistic with AB out..strength of the division and that shitty schedule.

Lol Falcons. Still haven't gotten up off the mat since that Super Bowl debacle

Let the tanking begin..Miami getting drilled

Would love to live in a world where the hyped Browns lose their opener, currently losing to Tennessee

Rams/Panthers game looks like the best one going right now

And now we have Randy Moss talking shit and giving us insight on how one goes from the RAIDERS to the Patriots. Lol Just have to laugh so you don't cry. Moss is loving it. He never wanted to be a RAIDER either and AB is his buddy. MFs

Lol That was the most ridiculous review yet
    " it was catch..but we don't know if his knee was down..so it wasn't a catch..or fumble. "

Are the Dolphins the worse team in the NFL. They look awful.

On another note, I would love the Titans to beat the Browns. I am not on the Mayfield train.
