This will end with the Jaguars trading Ramsey to the Patriots for a 2024 7th round pick and game worn cleats by Tom Brady.

The player I would guess is Karl Joseph.

Abram recruiting Ramsey to the RAIDERS, told Honey Badger to stand down :D
"Get back…we trying to see what’s up,” Abram said in response to Chiefs safety, Tyrann Mathieu’s attempts to recruit Ramsey.
Man, Abram and Ramsey would be a lot of attitude in the secondary

Couple reasons I don't think it's Joseph. He's up for a new contract, so hard time seeing JAX valuing him that much in a trade like this. But also the RAIDERS are razor thin @ safety right now, so I can't really see them sending a starting caliber safety out. Even if it's debatable that he's starting caliber.

Reason I think it could be Worley is because he has a hell of a lot of starts for a guy that just turned 24. 36 starts @ corner in 3 years is pretty strong for a young guy. Can see Worley and Ramsey just swapping jerseys, both are #20. But it sounds like Coughlin could be going Dell Demps on us Lol....

    Albert Breer@AlbertBreer
Per rival clubs, the asking price for Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey is two first-round picks. That's a starting point. And added to what it'd cost to extend Ramsey, it's a lot. But it's not totally crazy, given what Seattle got for Frank Clark and Miami got for Laremy Tunsil.

"League sources have said that the Raiders are one of the teams that have checked in with the Jaguars [on Jalen Ramsey],” Tafur reported in The Athletic on Tuesday afternoon.

Need to get it done with Mahomes in the division for the foreseeable future.

Although it would be nice, I don't think the Raiders will pull the trigger, not after getting burned by another malcontent.

Yeah, but the equation hasn't changed over the last week. Talent still = opportunity. McKenzie wasted valuable draft picks every year, but the RAIDERS are still showing up to the draft to take their cuts regardless. Just because AB goes nuclear doesn't mean they can afford to stop being opportunistic when talent becomes available. Fortune favors the bold. If they were gambling, RAIDERS' combination of draft pick value and cap space would put them among the chip leaders. Can't be afraid to play if you're among the chip leaders.

Besides, several key differences between AB and Ramsey. One being that AB never really fit with the actual rebuilding model, him being 31 years old and all. Ramsey's only 24. And then of course, AB said he didn't need football anymore before the RAIDERS traded for him, so he's just a law unto himself. But they are reportedly trying to pull this Ramsey thing off..have to imagine they're just looking to get it done w/o giving up both of their 1st rd picks. They need a star player on arrival in Vegas. A young/brash/popular/polarizing all-pro defender should also bolster marketing/intrigue. They have quite a few reasons to give chase, and if they don't get him they'll probably turn around and aggressively pursue AJ Green. It's a pivotal time in the rebuild given all the circumstances

Vic Tafur speculating that they may have made Gareon Conley available ( again). Wouldn't be shocking. Said a few times already that I don't believe he's a long term RAIDER given his tackling issues. They also shopped him last season. He'll never be more than an average CB unless he cleans up his tackling.

A 2020 1st + Conley and his potential may be a strong enough offer to get it done..likely viewed as a stronger offer than a 1st and Worley given Conley's 1st round draft pick status. RAIDERS can rotate Worley/Mullen at the corner opposite Ramsey and send the double team their way to help out..Lamarcus Joyner continues playing the slot. Solid set up. Still have to figure something out at safety opposite Joseph in the short term, but one miracle at a time. At least there's Abram returning next season and hopefully for more than 1 game next time around

Dell Demps got fired because he was going to accept the Lakers offer for AD.

Is that the word on the street? Because that's not what was reported. He was reportedly fired because of AD's trade request in itself. One of the reasons why he didn't take AD's trade request to ownership like he promised he would to AD/Paul. Fearing he would get the axe for failure to keep AD happy in N.O. Report added that Popovich also warned Demps not to give in, that he'd lose his job, and so he didn't give in, but still lost his job anyway - for the overall sucktitude and shitshow with an unhappy AD

    Ian Rapoport@RapSheet
Source: #Packers traded WR/Returner Trevor Davis to the #Raiders. Davis is a 4.3 speed WR and one of the League’s top punt & kick returners who should have an immediate opportunity to compete at WR.

We're trading for kick returners when Ramsey is available?:mad::mad::mad:

I'm told Jalen Ramsey is fine playing TNF tonight, but a source just told me he doesn't anticipate being a member of the #Jags next Sun. Teams like KC, BAL, MIN, OAK, PHI, SEA hv all made substantive inquiries, but my understanding is almost every team has at least placed a call.

Mariota has some of the worst pocket awareness I've ever seen. What a horrible QB.

Hopping around and throwing right into coverage, staring WRs down. Yeah, he's bad. Doesn't take much to get him off his spot and jittery

^link^ Vegas Sources ( Arrigo): RAIDERS' 2020 1st rd pick + Gareon Conley is on the table for Ramsey. His sources also say the deal has been agreed upon, it'll be completed on Friday.

Also saw Vic Tafur allude to the same yesterday, shares team/NFL sources with Arrigo. I've mentioned multiple times before that Conley doesn't fit moving forward, can't tackle worth a damn. The Seahawks still worry me here until it's official. Think they're the biggest threats to get Ramsey. They at the very least have the cap flexibility to make him a nice offer as far as the contract extension goes, so they'll be highly motivated and of course they're in the NFC, so all good for JAX. The draft comp JAX receives probably won't be as good if they're looking to move him to the Seahawks though..unless they just unload everything they have coming over the next couple drafts. If I were them, I would. They're close enough and Wilson is great.

Anyway, I doubt Coughlin would ship him to the Ravens and help them supe their team up behind Lamar Jackson on his rookie contract. Ravens are about to become a real threat in the AFC if cheap Jackson continues his performance. Can't just give the Ravens Jalen Ramsey when that secondary is already excellent. I doubt the Jags are just giving up and rebuilding after this, so they don't want to have to deal with the Ravens + Ramsey. Ditto for KC..AFC teams that are on the verge of making a Super Bowl run probably shouldn't even waste their time..not that KC has the cap flexibility to make it make sense on the whole, anyway. They're about to make Mahomes the richest QB ever some time over the next year and are already tight.
