He's still a work in progress.

The real postseason bad asses don't need to be bailed out in the 7th inning.

21 scoreless postseason innings is a bright side if I've ever seen one. Especially given the dumpster fire surrounding him

I'm Walker's most irrational critic and I have to agree with you.
He's stepped the fuck up every single time

he’s basically the only one. Muncy and Turner would some honorable mentions. KIKÈ to an extent too has had some big moments that we can’t forget.

I have a good feeling the Dodgers would not have lost that game if Dave kept Buehler in the game.

Buehler was laboring towards the end. I can’t confidentially agree with you.

I loved the strikeout of Eaton by Kershaw but the second he gave up the shot to Rendon he should have been pulled for Kolarek. He went from a huge out to getting shook. You could see it his eyes. They don't call it a game of inches for nothing and that's more evident in the postseason. After that Kenta could have just closed it out. He's been everything Kershaw hasn't been on the mound, reliable.

Just once I would love to cruise through the postseason outscoring the other teams by a ton but more often than not great pitching beats great hitting in the post and Kershaws greatness as a pitcher in the postseason has been missing much like clutch hits from the lineup when we've needed them most. Definitely prefer to be the Twins and just get smashed in the post but it's the way we lose all the time that's so godamn heartwrenching and agonizing.

Walker was done. But putting CK in and keeping him in after the first HR defies all reason and logic.

It was a mistake to put in Kersh.
It worked out and the inning was closed.
Should have thanked the lucky stars.
Keeping him out there for another inning was mistake 2.
Then after getting rocked you dont take him out?
    Mistake number 3.
    Putting in Kelly mistake 4.
Letting him load the bases on purpose mistake 5.
Letting him pitch with the bases loaded mistake 6.
Not putting in Kenta at any time before this mistake 7.

    I wasn't diminishing what he's done.

Just saying another year he works his way through that 7th inning mess which he created himself with his lack of command.

Dodgers' best is a step below the very best.

The balls hit off of Kershaw were low launch-angle rockets. Ball drag was only going to do so much, and Soto's in particular would have been a HR in any park, any ball, any era (what's the joke? Name a park it wouldn't be a HR in? Answer: Yellowstone).

The problem that I see with the juiced ball is that it's been done in secret. It wouldn't have been a crime if they did it out in the open, say they are trying to boost offense in the same way that lowering the mound boosts offense. But it was done in secret and now everyone is left guessing what's going on. The stats in that article seem to show that there is no doubt the ball is less juiced in the playoffs now. Seems odd that they would intentionally do that with all the praise MLB got from the 2017 WS (fckrs). I almost have to conclude bad quality control on this one.

Don't doubt that you're right, but was really just reinforcing the fact that Kershaw is a bum there. Not even the 1st time he's given up HRs in the post on back to back pitches, as you reminded me the other day

If Soto weren't the truth, I'd be second guessing him hitting a ball 450 feet @ a buck 80 soaking wet. But yeah, he's the man. Talked it and walked it.
