I thought the purpose of the shutdowns was originally to buy time to keep hospitals from being overwhelmed.

Shouldn't the gov't (and private sector) have used the last four months to massively increase hospital/ICU capacity? Shouldn't that be the way forward instead of rolling gov't shutdowns that only delay the inevitable?

 

The answer is private clubs.

They can do business that is private with their members who sign waivers.

The NJ federal judge Salas has put away mobsters and corrupt officials.
She took the Epstein Maxwell bank case.

Well we also find out today that the dissapeared students in Mexico were taken by the federal government of the previous president.
That the students stole 8 buses for their trip to the protest.
They took 6 without issue. When they took the other two they started to be chased by federales.
Btw the new president abolished the federal police for these rumors and a history we all know of supreme corruption.
The students evaded to the federales and got back to campus with the buses.
Then all the buses moved out filled with students.
Then those same 2 buses that the federales chased were chased off road when they lagged behind the other busses.
Federal police blocked off the roads to divert them away fro the others.
Then they were massacred or disappeared.
Only 2 bodies have been found and not at the site.
The two busses were filled with oxycontin and heroin and coke in secret compartments. The students had no idea that the 2 buses were being protected by the federales to ensure the business of their cartel bosses was not exposed.
And that El Chapo the visible boss was protected and took orders from the hidden boss.
The people of Mexico are screaming for justice.
And that's why they finally voted out the party that had dominated Mexico with corrupt presidents for 100 years.
