He is manipulating the narrative? He is the cause of the unrest?

That’s a reach. Ellison is nowhere to be seen on TV. He ain’t controlling a thing on this story. The people who recorded with their cell phones for the entire incident is what set this civil unrest off.

Honestly don’t blame him as a politician.

people want to hear you gonna get results. Buzz words ain’t gonna work anymore. Police brutality has reached a boiling point .

and he could have put the rest of the story out there
    this CLEARLY wasn't about racism
it was about a very high criminal and a bad cop that had a personal working relationship w the guy
i never said he caused it but he certainly gave the narrative cover and that's criminal
there was an agenda to cause the unrest and burn the cities and he hid pertinent information intentionally

So just because you think you didn’t hear the N word or call him a jungle bunny you think racism didn’t have anything to do with it? You really need to do a deeper dive into the whole systematic racism thing. It gets into subliminal thinking. Makes even black officers treat their own kind differently.

it’s not all about this one incident. People are fed up police killing blacks with impunity. You see people here think cop will get off cause it happens all the time.

They told us this was a cold blooded murder of a peaceful man by a racist cop that happened with no provocation whatsoever.
I think this video casts doubt on most of that.
Also, he didn't die by knee, according to the autopsy.
There'e enough there for criticism and potentially manslaughter.
But I had people telling me murder of the 1st degree.
Yet another failure of the media.

I don’t care if you heard that narrative from a news outlet or from a group of protesters. That was not the story. I don’t care if this guy just shot up a kindergartener class. Cops are not suppose to be judge, jury, and executioner.

He was killed by that cop. Don’t try and give some bullshit like he had an medical condition. This is your COVID deaths excuse.

I never heard 1st degree for any outlet or person. You are projecting.

i agree w that but even if they find he didn't die from the knee w all saw the life go out of him in that 8 minutes
and like it or not this horse has broken the stall and is waaaaay down the road
i hope for all our sakes he's convicted of murder
the guy is a bad cop and there was zero reason to kneel on his neck when he's on the ground cuffed
the situation has taken on a life of its own regardless of the autopsy unfortunately

I hate that we live in a society where we have to preface everything by saying we don't condone the officer's conduct. It was negligent and incompetent. I think everyone agrees with that.
    BUT...
I cannot hope for a murder conviction if he didn't murder him.
I want justice, not a verdict that's motivated by appeasing the mob.

An attorney general technically isn't a politician, even though it's an elected position.

The AG is the state's top law enforcement officer. The AG is supposed to enforce the law, not bend it to suit his political tastes, which in Ellison's case are obvious.

Anybody elected is a politician. Judges, AG, Sheriffs should not be electable positions. I will sign the petition.

give me one example of systemic racism
9 blacks killed by cops last year
want to take a guess at how many blacks were killed by other blacks?
that's what they SHOULD be fed up with

If this country didn’t allow people of color to be treated as second class citizens, animals at its worser times, then we wouldn’t have this problem. Nobody likes it but here we are.

We all want that, I think. At least reasonable people do.
As I am repeatedly told by the head of the legal dept. of her corporation gf, justice has very little to do with the outcome when law is practiced. Sometimes it happens, but the law itself is far from a guarantee of justice.

Lol. An article w sweeping generalizations. There's no facts presented there. And how we get civil unrest is by liberals leading the black community around by the nose to do their bidding. Keep perpetuating the lie. It's what the left and the media do best.

Asking to present one killing of an example of systemic racism is like saying “point to meal that made me fat”.
