    the injury to Ferguson is a gut wrencher for sure
    really hoping overuse isn't the reason but it almost certainly was a contributor after climate change and racism or course
    as bad as losing Caleb is i'd hate to lose Trienen or Gonzalez etc. to overuse
    i see certain guys out their every single day

    Honestly, it probably wasn’t overuse. The last time he pitched back to back days was 3 weeks ago. He had a day rest before this outing, and it was only his 2nd time pitching in 6 days. It was just one of those things.

    maybe recently but he was every night for a large part of the season
    this is what i was reading mostly on UCL tears
    A UCL tear occurs with overuse and wear and tear on the ligaments in the elbow and is most commonly associated with baseball pitchers and other athletes who perform frequent overarm movement. UCL injuries can range from complete tears to less severe damage such as inflammation. UCL tears can also be caused by a traumatic blow to the elbow, but most cases are the result of overuse from repetitive motions.
    i didn't see him receive any shot to the elbow but anythings possible
    higher chance is it was overused
