if the Dodgers win the WS finally we should make it a holiday in southern california where everyone has to dress in blue.
you don't necessarily have to wear dodgers gear, but you gotta wear blue.
jeans don't count as they are indigo not blue
    St. Mookies day?
He brought back many Dodgers fans who had given up on team for breaking their hearts.
The ones who didn't come back when the bankers got us Mookie were already too far gone.
They saw Mookie run and they saw Mookie smile and they didn't believe.
Mookie gonna save Kershaws legacy. Nobody gonna care about all the failures from the past once you got a ring.
Mookie gonna save Daveys reputation as a manager by deflecting praise upstairs to the manager instead of at himself.
Mookie gonna save the bankers from being scapegoated and blamed for past bad moves.
Mookie gonna save the fans who have been waiting for a player like him to come and set the table so we all could eat.
When have we had a leadoff hitter who is also a league leader MVP type and the teams moral leader?
    Never in my lifetime.
I have hope that the Dodgers are going to finally win a WS and I know i'm over hyping Mookie but he can't hear this so it's not going to affect his play.
It's just us Dodgers fan's sending him some positive vibes that we believe that he and the rest of the team have this trophy in their hands.

    At the parade.
    You must wear blue.
As much blue as you can put on.

Today’s lineup is probably gonna be our typical 1-6 and a 7-9 of Pollock, Taylor, Enrique. Only question gonna be of how they arrange them 7-9 and also what defensive alignment they go with.

Taylor LF, Enrique 2B is our best defensive alignment and you can still pinch hit Joc for Enrique and Edwin/Beaty for Pollock.

I guess you could go Pollock in LF and Taylor at 2B but not seeing a big advantage in that off top of my head, unless they feel they definitely don’t want to pinch hit for Pollock/Taylor all game long because of the Rays ability to bring lefties/righties outta their pen and those 2 guys handle righties better than Enrique. So maybe you make Enrique DH since you might only want him hitting with Snell on the mound then switch him out. Idk.

I like the idea of starting Pollock, Taylor and Kiké; and I think Pollock is definitely the DH in that scenario. If we are winning, you keep Kiké in all game for defense. If we are down and Snell is out of the game for a RHP, then you bring in Joc for Kiké. Easy peazy.

was watching w a group of people and missed floro not getting the chance to get warm
i saw davey panic on bringing in victor for sure but after allowing julio a chance to finish the nlcs i can forgive it
didn't ck come out after our long inning?
its hazy because i was jumping around a little but i thought he just came out after sitting too long
at any rate its obvious our manager has heard the criticisms and is jumpy
once again the hope is we continue to win in spite of him

Looking up and down the bench at the Dodgers, I stop at May and wonder, " is there no skin bronzer available in the Dodger clubhouse "? C'mon...

Dave didn't take out Kershaw because he wanted to get him out before blowing up, Dave took him out because we had a 6-run lead. So it's not as if he all of a sudden figured out how to manage Kershaw. It was super awkward though, I've never seen a decision like that made so hastily before, especially when Kershaw was cruising and could have easily gone out there to start the 7th while Floro gets a chance to warmup. And then another head scratcher (and maybe a fail by the entire coaching staff) but you have Floro out there with no one getting ready behind him. It was just weird. Props to the players for getting through it, even though it took Victor catching a 100 mph come-backer to stop the bleeding.

There were actually two consecutive innings where Kershaw sat a long time (kudos to our offense!). The first one, he did come back out and threw a quick three outs (aided by a highlight reel play by JT). The second one, as we expanded our lead, suddenly the players in the dugout started congratulating Kersh, so I believe he was initially going to pitch one more, but as BlueMouse said, the lead afforded Roberts the luxury of not maxing out Kershaw. He just was a little slow on getting the message to the pen.

Yes, a wee bit. It's all fine, unless of course you're the pitcher that's the one thrown in there.
    Then, it sucks elephant dicks.
It was a stroke of luck, and only that, that the whole thing ended abruptly in the Dodgers favor.
That's not even a rookie manager mistake, it's unheard of.
Like they say...it's better to be lucky than good.

The solution to Floro not being warm is you send Kersh out there, he warms up, then you pull him. Roberts has done that before so it was very weird the way he handled it last night. And like it was mentioned, it made less sense that someone was not up and warming due Floro not being ready in the first place. Only thing I can think of if this is not on Dave is this is Prior's first WS as pitching coach and he dropped the ball a bit in the heat of it all. Hopefully this is just a one time thing and we don't have to go through that shit again.

I think he was planning on sending Kershaw back out there until they scored more runs then made the decision to pull him.

I guess Gonsolin is an opener? I kinda don’t want a Dave to burn Urías. I think if we win game 2, Urias deserves another start.
