I'm gonna wait for Inglewood to go all in.
I like the idea of the LA Rams... Fearsome Foursome...Youngblood, Slater, Dickerson are cool too.
But the reality of the Rams right now is poor management and boring football. Improvment this year, sure. But still not good.

Not going to happen overnight, especially with a raw QB coming out of a college style spread offense. Fisher left a complete mess offensively.

That's my point. Fans won't come overnight either. Leaving the market for 21 years and LA proper for over 30, the Rams aren't ingrained in LA Sports culture anymore. They aren't the Dodgers or Lakers. If they suck, people aren't going to care. It's going to take years to rebuild their identity. I want to care, but it is very easy for me just to turn the TV off when I see Gurley trip over himself and Goff dodge a hailstorm of yellow flags.

They have been .500 once in the past decade tops. That's just a crap organization and I don't suspect it'll change. I hope they do figure it out and are a competitive team playing in the best stadium in the league. Right now they are one of the worst teams in the league playing in the absolute worst stadium. There's nothing to see right now.

I wonder if Cam Newton even wants to play football anymore, guy handles adversity like a 6yr old. I just get the feeling that if he or his team isn't good, he'd rather just not show up at all. He has that frontrunner feel. Fool running around as the face of the Panthers with a blonde beard and all these ridiculous hats. Smh Newton's hat @ his pressers has been the most newsworthy topic concerning Carolina ever since they lost the SB/his melt down in the presser thereafter. And now they're trying to teach him to play from the pocket, to stop running so much and taking hits..take away his fave target in Olsen and I truly wonder if he still wants to play or if the circumstances are just too tough for him. He seems soft to me, at least between the ears. I question whether he has what it takes to get up off the mat and lead Carolina back to the top of the NFC

-- With less than 13 minutes remaining in a blowout win over the New York Jets, Beast Mode switched to dance mode.

The home crowd loved it. The Jets didn't.

Several Jets players admitted they were embarrassed and angered by Marshawn Lynch's sideline dance, which was caught on the JumboTron. He grooved to "I'm really from Oakland," featuring Vell and DJ Mustard -- one of the highlight moments in the Oakland Raiders' 45-20 win Sunday at Oakland Alameda-Coliseum.

"It irks my ever-living nerves," linebacker Jordan Jenkins said. "When I saw it happening, it was infuriating. ... That pissed me off. I'm an old-school guy. I don't like when things like that happen. That was embarrassing, losing like that and having Marshawn dance like that.

"Great player, but seeing that happen, that should infuriate the whole team. It should infuriate everybody and we should have a good response coming into next Sunday."

The Jets were down 35-13 at the time of Lynch's sideline show. They were in a sour mood because their defense wound up allowing 400 total yards for the second straight week and the most points in 34 games under coach Todd Bowles.

"We're upset because it seems like he was rubbing it in our face," nose tackle Steve McLendon said. "But he's winning, man. He can do whatever he wants to do."

Linebacker Darron Lee added, "It's their house -- they can do whatever they wants -- but as a competitor, as a defender, you don't like to see that type of stuff. It's demoralizing, but we have to bow up and keep fighting."

Lynch grew up in Oakland, and this was his first home game after coming out of retirement and signing with the Raiders. He rushed for 45 yards on 12 carries, including a 2-yard touchdown run that made it 21-10.

As usual, Lynch didn't have much to say afterward. Asked how it felt to electrify the crowd with his dance, he said, "It felt good."

Jenkins said he wasn't mad at Lynch, per se, just the situation.

"When you perform like that, when you beat a team like they did to us, you have to celebrate," he said. "It sucks being on the losing end of it, but that's football. That comes with it.

"You have to take losses like a man. Guys dancing around, you can get mad at them -- you're supposed to. That's football. You don't blame it on unsportsmanlike.

"He fights. He earned every bit of what he did today. I'm not going to take that away from him. Of course, I'm going to be pissed off at him for dancing like that, but that's sports. That's not unsportsmanlike at all."

    Agree.....whaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

Stop being the laughing stock of the NFL then, and maybe you might get more respect. The Jets are atrocious.

Jets are actually in OK position going forward after this season, they have some young talent.
They'll get a Top 3 overall draft pick and get one of these stud college QBs in the draft, so even they can't fuck this one up..unless they fail to give him an O-line.
Of course they do have some other needs as well, but grabbing Darnold would be another step in the right direction.
They shed a lot of their bad contracts over the off-season, so that was the 1st step, and it does free them up to sign some solid vet O-line help in the near future.
All that said..yeah, they fuckin suck

Now, these MFs are in worse standing than the Jets, IMO. They won't pay Kirk Cousins for some reason, so he's probably out of there after the year and they're run by one of the worst owners in the sport...

The Washington Redskins have placed safety Su'a Cravens on the reserve/left squad list, meaning he will not return to the team this season.

Earlier this month, ESPN reported that Cravens had told some within the organization that he was planning to retire, but a meeting with the Redskins' coaches and executives has changed his mind for the time being.

The 22-year-old Cravens then was put on the team's exempt/left squad list before Week 1, meaning he had to sit out for a month.

Speaking Sept. 6, Redskins coach Jay Gruden had said Cravens needed time to work out personal issues, but that he would welcome him if he wanted to return.

"Some people, football is not for them," Gruden said. "But I know he has a strong passion for the game and wants to play. But there are some things in his life that he needs to keep private -- that we will keep private -- that he has to take care of."

I don't give a flying fuck about Eli's 2 SB rings..thank god he's not under center for the RAIDERS
His O-line isn't close to being the best, not even solid, but this MF takes some of the weakest sacks I've ever seen..anybody gets close to him, he just hits the ground without even being hit
Guy has zero mobility and zero ability in terms of throwing on the move, so you can't even scheme and roll the O-line one way to help the O-line out
If Goff is at home watching Eli, he has to feel like he has a chance at this QB thing
Still some time left for Eli to pull the lucky feather from his ass and win this game tho..but Stafford is clutch and would probably come right back

Aqib Talib is just whooping father time's ass, no contest. Didn't even realize he was 31. 31yr old CBs hardly ever play at the level he's at. Shit, Revis isn't even a year older than Talib and Revis is out of football completely. 10 career pick-6 TDs moved Talib past Deion..of course he's not as good as Deion, Deion obviously wasn't tested by QBs nearly as much. Can't stand Talib, but what he's doing is just impressive, period

    @TheKostos
Redskins +3 on SNF against Oakland is a lock play for me. Cousins will shred that OAK defense. Redskins win outright.

Hope he puts a lot of dough on Washington. Cousins is 2-11 in his career vs playoff caliber teams and Washington has looked pretty mediocre in their first two games this season. It's early, but Smith, Carrie, and Conley are all ranked in the top 15 for corners. Raiders D is looking a lot better through 2 games and they held the Titans to 16 points who have a better offense than Washington imo. No idea where his confidence is coming from but I feel pretty good about Oakland's chances vs the Deadskins.

Clearly someone is trying to make a lot of money for his bookie friends. I'm not even a Raiders fan and I know how this one ends (and it's not with the Redskins winning outright).

Would feel pretty good about them getting to 6-0 if they handle business in Denver next week
I like that they're back on the road now after the Beast Modeapalooza and all the fun in the home opener..regain focus.
Not that they lost focus, I guess, but the stadium was rockin..it was paaarty time in that piece..the telecast couldn't even hide it..RAIDER fans were in there like..

I think at Denver will be an L. Would love to be wrong of course, but they are a different beast at home. I think we are better than them and the division race will be between us and KC, but Denver is a great home team. Should be 5-1 headed into the big showdown on TNF vs KC.

They had a vendetta out on Denver last year, just bullied the hell out of Denver's front 7 with their O-line.
I'm not sure if the vendetta is still there this season..they might be focusing on KC this year, but there's always Talib snatching Crab's chain to draw from. Lol
I do know this..Denver will find that this RAIDER offense has more weapons than they had last year and more weapons than Dallas for sure.
Both Coop and Crab are better than Dez.
Add Cordarrelle Patterson and Jared Cook..and Beast Mode to an O that was already good enough to thump them.
Almost forgot about the final game of the season last year too, when Denver thrashed the RAIDERS without Carr..OK, there may be some revenge factor this year too
