    Only watched the condensed version of the game on the Dodger website. Krukow has a San Diego homer counterpart in Mark Grant. Insufferable.

    Very encouraging outing for Glasnow. If he's your #4 starter with that stuff you're in pretty good shape.

    7 hits last night, all from the top three hitters. Miserable night for rest. 1-10 RISP.

    Looking at the box I see two Ks for Diaz in his inning. How did he look and is he pitching his way into the playoff roster?

    I'm in the Bay Area through the weekend and thought about catching a game. But Dave's B-team playing uninspired baseball doesn't have a whole lot of draw for me. Probably will pass.

    he looked good, and maybe it’s just me… but i feel like he’s always one pitch from a meltdown
    if ever there were a time to employ a closer by committee, this might be it

    In spite of mostly fine pitching, this lineup and what it's doing presently, can easily be beaten by any team in the playoffs handily.
    In the week or 6 days of the bye (whatever it is), I guess someone is going to have to teach these fading millionaires. how to hit with RISP.
    Really pathetic.
    Why not put the utmost possible pressure on the pitching staff to give up zero, game after game.
    Can throw the ball around without accuracy lately, too.
    Did anyoneelse notice that Pages now has a delaying type hitch before he throws the ball in from the OF?
    I never noticed it before, but did last night.
    Whatever.

    Dalton Rushing activated
    Dodgers won't be happy until they ruin his career
    I don't understand this infatuation with trying to force Dalton onto the postseason roster when he has a torn UCL
    Josue De Paula is literally a better offensive player who is also currently healthy
    Even if De Paula cannot be trusted to play defense, Dalton is strictly a bat only with his injury
    After Dalton pinch hits, he needs to be taken out of the game immediately
    Let the guy get his surgery completed so he can begin his recovery

    I know this game is mostly meaningless, but I hope this offense can show a pulse. Just give us a glimmer of a hope. And I mean some hits with RISP -- not just scoring on a balk.
