    It's actually a good analogy, right or wrong.

    I'm glad we have him regardless. If he's not back in the day Hanley he's still really valuable to us. One less hole we have.

    But your comment makes sense. He's flashy, but actual effectiveness...don't know yet. Is he a star in the middle of the order again? He's been not so great for 2 seasons in MIA, so it's a reasonable concern.

    I'm giving Hanley the benefit of the doubt with us until he proves that MIA was for real. Same time, perfect analogy.

    I remember the Dodgers were striking out against some scrub pitcher and after the game an exasperated Lasorda said, "We made him look like Walter Johnson out there!" I always thought that was funny.
