I'm not a Bryce Harper hater, but the media attention he's gotten has become an annoyance. Yes, the guy has potential to be spectacular, but that time isn't now so they need to STFU and wait for it to happen. The guy hasn't earned the Matt Kemp ESPN treatment.

after re-signing dre, hamels should be our #1 priority and if the phils are still in last place at the deadline... maybe -- just maybe -- they'd be willing to ship him to us for relatively cheap, as opposed to (possibly) losing him for nothing after the season.
