    Why not leave Farmer off?

On the bright side, facing a LH in Game 1 means for sure the good lineup, Barnes/Kikè/Forsythe (maybe Seager?) if not, then Culberson, and Taylor stays in the OF.

Huh, that’s true. I do think having 3 catchers is helpful cause you can use the 2nd catcher more, but it’s been very strange that Yasmani has only been used as a starter and never off the bench, and Farmer has been used off the bench.

But it would leave a lot of redundancy on the bench if you remove Farmer. For example, against a left handed starter the bench could possibly be Utley, Grandal, Seager, Ethier, Joc, and Granderson. Obviously that’s cause the righties are starting but I mean, that’s a ton of left handed meh hitters.

But like I said, it’s been weird how they’ve used Farmer/Grandal, as they’ve trusted Farmer against a lefty off the bench way more than Grandal or another lefty. So who knows.

Being gay is only an issue if you make it one.
By making fun of Kike on a constant basis we make sure it never is an issue.

What if he can come back and hit perfectly fine but is still horrible in the field?

don't think you'll get one without the other
he'll either be okay for both or not at all
might be a tough call for the nerds/doc...
of course corey is dying to play, but you have to do what's best for the team -- even if that means sitting him for the world series
culberson and kiké have filled in beyond expectations
can always use him in the dh for games 3/4/5 -- but even then, if there's somebody better... sorry corey

some love from the fox studio guys...

    Frank Thomas:
“You’ve got to love the Dodgers. They won 104 games this year and they play total team baseball. I really like this team, but at this point I can’t say they’re the best team remaining. Either team can win the World Series.”

    Keith Hernandez:
“I agree with Frank. There’s so many intangibles to winning. They’re not a team with an MVP candidate on it. I don’t think Bellinger is going to be in the top five of voting, even though he had a terrific year. They’ve got a Logan Forsythe, Chris Taylor, Kiké Hernandez, they’ve all had career years. It’s the little components in the machine that have made this team work. The common denominator, number one, is their pitching. Their starters and bullpen are the best.”

    David Ortiz:
“You guys are wrong, man. To me, the Dodgers look like the Golden State Warriors from the NBA. They have so many secret weapons to hurt you. They have good pitching, a good bullpen, they have so many thumpers in the lineup. There’s no way this team can be defeated. You saw in the regular season, they had that little downslide and learned from it. Now you watch the playoffs, they look unbeatable. They have everything that you need in the playoffs. The little things, they get it done. The big things, they get it done.”

    A-Rod:
“They are the class of baseball. They’ve been tie-ins all summer. When you think about having a No. 1 starter like Clayton Kershaw, a lights-out reliever like Kenley Jansen, for me, what separates them is the acquisition of Yu Darvish. It almost makes them unbeatable. I know they had a little hiccup this summer, I actually think that makes them better, because it humanizes them. It reminded everybody that if they don’t play well, they’re not going to be able to win.”

    • Granderson has followed up his dismal regular season with the Dodgers with a 1-for-15 postseason, with eight strikeouts.

he's really good as an analyst
and unlike assclowns like keith hernandez, he evidently does research and comes prepared
he's also very good in front of the camera, borderline natural
