we survived what should have been a demoralizing loss for ATL
no reason to bring tanner in for the 9th
would have rather seen just about anyone else except maybe diaz

Tanner Scott still throws the same pitch over and over I still say.
Albies fucking knew it bigger than shit.
    So disappointing.

17 HRs for Possum Face in the post. Most in Dodger history.

These wins never get old no matter how we get them. Feels great to grab game 1 vs a Braves squad that has been a huge pain for the Dodgers

ok deflating and feeling a nap coming on for these next games somewhere. home the Miz makes SD miserable. took two cortisone shots to both hands for trigger finger. weird shit hope it works. had no idea what was going on and the English ortho at my kids wedding said just go surgery. eh the shots were painful but yeah. a nap sounds great.

I had to step away in the ninth, up 5-1, assuming the game was pretty well in hand. Came back to see final was 5-3 with a save by Phillips, which told me somebody else pitched and likely gave up the two runs. So as I pulled up the box score, I kept thinking, please be Diaz, please be Diaz (just because I don't trust him and want even less motivation for Roberts to use him in any high leverage situations). Fuck! Totally sucks that it was Scott, now Davey's even more likely to go to Diaz next time the game's on the line.

On the positive side, he did turn to Evan. This isn't a one-off for Scott - seems he's regressed late in the season. It should be Phillips and Henriquez late in my opinion, possibly Roki too. Scott's magic from most of the season seems to be gone.

want to see Enrique come on when its not so high stress. today would have been good against the right handed bats. or definitely Roki. he's looked really sharp. Scott and Diaz don't need to out there.

I don't know about Diaz, tbh. He sucked beyond belief, then looked pretty good. Unknown.
But, imo, Scott- because of fear and repetitious pitch selection, is unusable in any situation , unless it's a complete laugher. If this is what we can expect in the playoffs from him, fuck him.

Snell has the skills but he makes me worry when his pitch count maxes out in the 5th or 6th.

Slider-fastball has always been his mix and he's been very successful with it. Shouldn't flush what was a solid regular season because of one bad outing.

Almost flawless game until the Scott shit show in the 9th. I'll even Scott a little credit (grudgingly) for getting a couple of tough LH hitters (Olson and Harris) after the Albies bomb.

Skubal pitched to his reputation. Obviously he was pumped up. One tiny complaint.......how in the fuck do you walk Kim? That sixth inning pitch cost him a shot at going out for the 7th. Well done by Stewart and Vesia cleaning up the 7th and 8th.

Didn't exactly tear the cover off the ball, but made them count. They had just one AB with RISP. Never get tired of the Teo bat point or the Muncy bat drop. Tucker's two run bomb was the answer to the Murphy HR.

Hoping yesterday wasn't more of 2025 playoff Pages. Three Ks and yet another stupid challenge. Cut that shit out, Andy.

I'd have liked Wrobo as another lefty arm in this series. Just in case Snell has a short outing today, it would be good to have Wrobo able to step in and nail down a few innings. Oh well, I hope Snell is at his best.

Thinking the same thing. But Wrobo hasn't been very solid of late, no?

I'd like to think Snell is smarter as a pitcher than Albies or Acuña are as hitters - so I doubt Blake will hang any pitches for either of them.

Murphy faced him 8 times - 3 hits, one a homer.

    Snell's numbers vs. Atl
